Season 2 | Chapter 6

-Sledding Hill-

Y/n POV

     The cityscape passed by as the car drove just behind the bus on our way to the resort where we would be staying the rest of the trip. Yesterday was relaxing. Finally. The class all got together and visited different places in Tokyo. Some karaoke, shops, good food, and a few other things. We were also informed that we would be meeting a new student when we got there. Strange as it was, the reason made sense. Due to home and family things, he wasn't able to come any sooner. And since his family is near at the moment, he would meet us on the trip and head back with us to stay at the dorms. Even with all of that excitement, it was still really relaxing compared to the trip so far.

     I could hear the girls talking among each other excitedly about the coats and the like they bought for this portion of the trip. They talked about things they wanted to do there. From skiing to sledding, to having some of the hot chocolate that the resort was famous for.

     The city disappeared and was replaced by the increasingly snowy landscape that the resort rested on. I noticed that the car had gotten quiet and looked back at the girls. Their faces were pressed to the window, taking in the beautiful, snowy scenery. The way they gazed out the window with wide eyes and bright smiles was adorable. I don't blame them though. This place is seriously beautiful. It wasn't much longer until we passed some slopes and eventually pulled up to the Japanese style rooms we would be staying in.

     The sleeping arrangements hadn't changed much aside from the fact that all the boys were staying in a room and all the girls in another. The girls and I would be staying in a room that their parents all chipped in for since the rooms weren't that big and they were already pretty full.

     We all exited the car and bus and got our luggage out from holding. I took a huge breath. The air up here is so pure and fresh. I could live here for the rest of my life. The snow just lays peacefully on the ground and falls the same. For once, I smile genuinely.

     "That's what I like to see," Rosie said with a smile, making me jump.

     "I second that." Lisa agreed, appearing on my other side, making me jump a second time.

     "Would you two stop picking on me!" I whined as they just giggled.

     "Come on, let's get our things into the room and get some proper warmer clothes on." Lisa continued.

     "Yeah, yeah," I said with a sigh as they continued to giggle.

     We took everything into our room and set up small futons. There was only room for three per side, making the girls tease Lisa into sleeping next to me. Even though Rosie offered to do it as well, Lisa ultimately ended up being the one to sleep next to me. They didn't miss the opportunity to tease me as well. Sometimes I wonder why I hang out with these four...

     "Hey, guys." One of the teachers that was on the trip to chaperon popped her head into the room. "The new student is here, come out and meet him."

     "Coming, miss," Jisoo spoke up. "Let's go, guys."

     We all follow Jisoo out to the main lobby area of the resort. I honestly never would have expected to see the person who was standing there prepared to join our class.
