Y/n POV

"Hey, Y/n. It's time to wake up for school." I heard Nayeon's voice ring out, causing me to stir awake.

I sleepily sat up and rubbed my eyes, and received a soft kiss on my cheek. Surprised, I turn to see a smiling Nayeon, who was now sitting next to me. I heaved a tired sigh and smiled back to her. She wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me softly.

"I hope you slept well last night." She said softly. "I know I did after I cuddled with you. I felt really safe. Thank you for being there for me last night."

"It really wasn't a problem. You were really upset, least I could do was try to cheer you up." I responded as I rubbed my nape.

"Hey... can I ask you something?" Her eyes expressed a sense of hope as she looked to me.

"Sure. Ask me anything, I'll do my best to answer as honestly or correctly as possible." I responded with a smile.

"You said you loved me last night... Did you mean it?" She asked as she got herself situated sitting down cross-legged on the bed, facing me as she looked intently into my eyes.

"Yeah, I think I did mean it. The small amount of time I've spent with you has shown me a lot." I said as she bit her bottom lip with a smile. " You're a really pretty girl Nayeon, more than that, you're really sweet and caring. I think you'd make a wonderful girlfriend."

She smiled and covered her mouth. She looked up at me lovingly and jumped on me with a hug. I wrapped my arms around her to hug her back. She moved away and then pressed her lips to mine, her arms still wrapped around my neck. She rested her forehead against mine.

"So... are we a thing now?" She asked softly. "Because I definitely fancy you..."

"I think that would be great," I responded as Nayeon smiled then slid off my bed.

"Come on, get up, we have school." She giggled as she walked to get her clothes that were washed the night before.

We got ready for school and made breakfast together. While we ate, I set up a bento style lunch for us to take with us to school. After we ate and cleaned up, we left the house to be on our way to school. We made small talk and learned more about each other as she hugged my arm. I learned that her favorite color is purple and that her favorite number is nine because her friend group is 9 people including her. She was in an accident when she was young that hurt her left leg, and she shares a suite style dorm room with her friends Sana and Mina, and other small things. I also learned that I'm in love with her smile. It was so bright and lit up the room, and it seriously made me happy to see.

"Hey, bitch!" I heard the familiar voice of Yeonghwan, pulling an annoyed sigh from me. "Oh, you got yourself a girlfriend, huh?"

"Y-Yeonghwan... Just please leave us alone." I asked, keeping myself timid.

"Why should I?" He mocked. "Gonna get all big and strong out of nowhere? Gonna nerd rage on me?"

His two cronies laughed as he mocked me and Nayeon. Soon, he began pushing and nudging me.
