Y/n POV

    The plane took off and we were on our way back to Korea. The contents of the folder still lingering around in my heart, raising more questions than answers. The mysterious person who slipped the note to me. How did they pass the note without me noticing, and how did they know about my past? Was it  set up so I could find it? They weren't just small details either. They were things that no one could have known. This note even had the same feeling as the other convenient things that helped my research. Either someone I'm forgetting is out there or someone's done a disturbing amount of research on me. Not knowing is very unsettling, but no one comes to mind when I think about it. I'm certain no one else in school knows who I am, and the ones that do know has come up to me and told me straight out. That said, none of them would have had the means to go to Japan, or even set that up during the trip. Could it have been Minjoon? No, why would he help me? He was working for Lucifer.

    Lisa sat next to me, her head on my shoulder as I looked out the window of the plane. I watched the clouds fly by torn up by the wings of the plane. I wonder what it would be like to be as carefree as those clouds. Not a care in the world, feeling the cool breeze carry me through the sky. What it would be like to not have all this weight on my shoulders.

    My thought was broken by the familiar ringtone of my phone's email notifications. It was the tone I set up for Jooheon. I opened it to see a link with the simple message: "Not good...". I opened it and saw an online newspaper that was reporting on the civil war happening in America. When I got to what he was referring to, my blood ran cold. The capital had already taken over all but Hawaii. It went on to explain that they suspected that there would be overpowered Sole users where Adrian comes from due to the island being more close to nature and the natural flow of the land and that they were planning accordingly for a heavy fight. They united to deal with the strongest Sole users and the armies of the different states not to capture or negotiate but to wipe the islands clean of life. Someone had leaked plans to build a national base there to train and secretly test weapons of the country. And they plan to strike Hawaii... TODAY?! My blood went from running cold to boiling.

    "Babe, what are you looking at?" Lisa asked, grabbing my phone from me to read it. "Oh my god..."

    "I need to do something..." I said in a hushed voice.

    "What can you do?" Lisa reasoned. "Even an ARU as strong as you are would have a hard time against an army... They won't just be foot soldiers either. There will be  planes and artillery, too..."

    The air went quiet and heavybetween us as reality began to set in.

    "I'll ascend again and send a message... a warning..." I grabbed at whatever straw I could.

    "Look... if you really want to see if you can help, I will see if I can get you there... I know of a way to get you there, and ridiculously fast. Family secret." She began. "I know how important this is for you and I know that you can't just ignore it. Just please be careful..."

    "I do need to be there... There has to be something I can do." I reaffirmed.

    She pulled her phone out and sent a message. She looked back up to me with a pleading expression as if to change my mind. I think she's understood how serious I was and leaned in to give me a soft kiss.
