Season 2 | Chapter 9

-Five Percent-

Chaeyoung POV

     "Jisoo!" I yelled. "Y/n, Lisa, and Minjoon was on the slab that came off!"

     Jisoo quickly ran from the front to us and looked down over the side.

     "Oh no, that's a far drop..." Jennie said.

     "Lisa's with them, they should be okay if they survived." Jisoo reasoned. Her worry still showed through her cool demeanor. "Come on everyone, when we get back we'll call it in. We don't have any service here. Let's not mess around too much!"

     I hope they're okay. Lisa's super reliable, so as long as no one's too terribly off, they should be perfectly fine like Jisoo said. But that won't stop me from worrying.

     I realized everyone was walking again so I had to jog to catch up with them. I tried to keep my concerns and worry at a low, but it was hard with what had just happened.

Lisa POV

     The cold air bit hard on the skin that was exposed to the spring water as I sat there. I slowly stood up as I tried to see through the settling snow from the fall. The snow added to the biting on my skin through the wet clothes as I felt my body was already shaking.

     At this rate, I'm gonna come down with frostbite and hypothermia... I need to find Y/n and Minjoon and try to get us all to safety and get some sort of warmth...

     The snow settled a little more and I could make out someone crouched down by the edge of the mountainside, seemingly looking down over the edge.

Narrator POV

     "Well, shit. I didn't mean to hurt you, let alone kill you, Y/n." Minjoon stood up with a sigh. "Now to deal with what I was ordered to do."

     He walked over in Lisa's direction, unscathed from the fall. The snow finally settled allowing for complete visibility. Lisa took a step forward out of the small spring as she shivered.

     "Minjoon, have you seen-"

     She was cut off by a hard boot to her sternum that sent her straight back into the spring, completely soaking her in the water.

     "What are you-"

     "Just shut up. By now you should know that I know who you are. So, let's stop pretending and deal with the problem." Minjoon stood menacingly over Lisa.

     Lisa frantically grabbed at her chest where the necklace she usually wore would sit, although she never found it.

     "Are you looking for this?" Minjoon asked as he held up his hand, the necklace dangling from it.

     Lisa's eyes grew wide in shock and panic.

     "Wh... Who are you, really?" Lisa asked, shaking from fear and the cold air. "And what the hell do you want?"

     "Look, it's nothing personal," Minjoon said, his face printed with a malicious smirk. "But, I don't really have a choice but to deal with you to send a message."
