-The Finals-

Narrator POV

The alarm screamed from Y/n's phone as he slowly woke up. His eyes, heavy still, from the previous night's sleep. He sleepily rolled over and swung his feet over the side of the bed and rested his face into his hands, heaving a heavy sigh.

"Today's it. I have to face him." Y/n said to himself, feeling the frustration build up inside of him like air in a balloon.

A knock at his door interrupted his thoughts, snapping him back into the present.

"Are you ready to go?" He could hear Jooheon's voice coming from the other side of the door as it opened.

"Yeah, I just have to get dressed." Y/n said as he stood up from the bed and made his way to the pile of clothes he used to conceal himself the day before.

After he got dressed, he found his way to the kitchen area where Jooheon already had breakfast sitting out with Kyomi, Yurim, Yuji, and Haeun all sitting around the table. Each with a plate of food in front of them.

"Hey," Yurim said sweetly.

"If it isn't Mr. Blue himself." Haeun teased.

"Huh... you..." Y/n stuttered out.

"Don't worry, you're in good hands," Jooheon interjected. "They've been friends with Yurim since the day she got to the other school. She bragged about you a lot, apparently."

"Oh yeah, huge crush," Yuji said with a smirk while she raised her eyebrow at Yurim, who was blushing and hiding her face.

"Stop!" She whined, her face still buried in her hands, making everyone but Y/n laugh.

The room quieted down as everyone noticed that Y/n wasn't following the bright mood they had tried to make.

"Y/n... are you okay?" Yurim asked.

No answer came from Y/n. He just sighed and looked down at the floor.

"This isn't really a time for laughter and happiness." Y/n said quietly but sternly.

"We know," Jooheon said. "But we don't want you freaking out more than you need to be right now."

"We know the fight you have today is going to be hard," Yuji added.

"So, we didn't want to bring the mood down any more." Haeun continued.

"Look, Y/n. We know how rattled you must be. Hellfire and Lucifer are both scary opponents." Yurim stood up and walked toward Y/n, standing just in front of him, then wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered into his ear. "We're not belittling you, or your position. We just don't want to add any stress. We know you don't like to fight or hurt people. We know this is hard for you..."

"Besides, with the way you fight, we have no doubt you'll give him a reason to think twice about messing with you or anyone else." Yuji cheered on.

"It's not going to be that simple." Y/n said sternly. "I don't know if I can beat him or not. You saw how he threw Jooheon around. Like it was nothing."
