The tour was finally over,and we were going home.and just in time too(like I predicted)because the holidays were coming up and I knew the guys would want to spend time with their families.I smiled and exhaled,resting my head on Chris' shoulder as we sat in our seats on the airplane."She would do a dance

Along her vain parade"I heard Chris whisper sing,"what song is that?"I asked curiously."oh,it's from one of our albums."he replied casually,I sat up."how come I've never seen this album?"I asked,"ah,it's not that good."he said.I crossed my arms and gave him a look,"Christopher John Cornell,"i said.
"Uh oh my full name,you must be serious."he joked.i cupped his cheeks,"everything you do is good-no-amazing."I assured him.his eyes glimmered,I leaned my forehead against his,he gently put his hands on my wrists."will you sing me the whole song?"I whispered,"anything for you,my love."he whispered back.I blushed,I pulled away and sat back.he quickly drank some water and cleared his throat,"the song's called flower,"he said."which should've been about you."he quickly added,i blushed.

On borrowed self esteem"he began to sing,I was already mesmerized.even though his voice was low(because he clearly didn't want to attract any attention)he still sounded so wonderful,I smiled and listened.

And smearing sincerity"Chris,who has his eyes closed the whole time as he sang,finally opened his eyes.I smiled,he blushed.It looked like he was going to stop singing,but I didn't want him to.I gently hugged his neck,"it's ok,keep singing."I whisper assured him.he gently hugged me back,"Along her vain parade
Along her veins"he sang in my ear.I held onto him,feeling relaxed as he sang.
"Time crept up on her
She's an early grey"I felt my eyes getting heavy,I rested my head on his shoulder and held onto him."Her reflection looks concerned
As flowers hit her grave"he sang,i yawned as I slowly closed my eyes.
"Goodnight Laci,I'll wake you up when we land."
