Laci's pov
"Chris?you home?"I asked,Chris asked me out on a date and wanted it to take place in his apartment.I walked into his living room and saw him lighting a candle,he quickly turned around and smiled when he saw me.I was honestly shocked that his hair didn't catch on fire due to how quickly he turned his head around,"Laci!you made it!"he said as he walked towards me.he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek,"you did all this for me?"I asked.he nodded,he held my hand and led me to the table he set up.I sat down on a chair and he gently pushed it towards the table a bit,I blushed as he went around the table and sat down on his own chair."awww Chris,you made my favorite."i pointed out,"well you are my girlfriend,and you only deserve the best."he said with a grin.I blushed and smiled,after a while we ate and chatted about many things.
Chris checked the clock,"guess nows a good time to give you this."he said.I tilted my head in confusion,"Chris,you didn't have to get me anything."i said as he dug into his pockets."well I want to make sure you have the whole world.and while I can't give you it right now,I can at least give you this."he said,he held up a box.I gently took it from him,"I hope you like it,I uh,had a little bit of help getting it."he admitted.I opened it,revealing a ring and a heart shaped locket.I gasped quietly,gently picking up the locket."do you like it?"he asked nervously,"oh Chris...these are beautiful."i said.I could feel myself tearing up,he got up from his chair and walked towards me.he got down on his knees and grabbed the ring,he then grabbed my hand.
"Laci,I love you.I love you more then anything in this whole world,this isn't technically a propose even though I do want to marry you so badly,but it's the next best thing."he said,I couldn't believe what I was hearing."after the tour,will you move in with me?"he asked,I smiled."of course I will you goofball."i said,he grinned.he shakily slipped the ring on my finger,i cupped his cheeks and kissed him.he stood up and gently grabbed the locket,I moved my hair to the side and let Chris put the locket on my neck."you should look inside."he whispered in my ear,I opened it:revealing a picture of me and Chris,engraved inside the locket were our initials(LT + CC).
"Will you stay over for the night?"
"Hell yeah."
