Lily stared at her baby sister as her father gently changed her clothes."papa?"Chris took his eyes off of Toni for a moment and looked down at Lily,"yes sweetie?"He asked with a smile."can I play dollie with Toni?"she asked,he sighed."I wish you could,but she's not old enough yet."he replied,"all she can really do for now is sit there and watch you."he explained."I'm ok with that!"she exclaimed,Chris smiled."alright,alright."she gasped as stars appeared in her eyes,"yay!"she cheered.she followed her father into the living room as he carried Toni in his arms,he carefully placed her down onto the baby chair in the living room."can I count on you to watch your sister?"he asked Lily,she nodded excitedly.
Laci's pov
"How's he doing?"I was on the phone with Jerry,checking in on the band."this may shock you Laci,but he's surprisingly doing really well."my face lit up,"really?"I asked,"yeah.the nurses even told Sean that if he keeps doing well,he may get released early."Jerry explained."oh Jer that's amazing!"my office door opened,Chris was holding Toni with the baby carrier and Lily was behind him."lunch is ready."i grinned and put the phone on speakerphone,"Jerry,tell Chris what you told me."I said."am I on speakerphone?"Jerry asked,"yeah you are dude,"Chris replied."now what's going on?"he asked,"you're gonna love this Chris,since Layne is doing so well in Rehab he might get released early!"Chris widened his eyes.
"Holy shit!"he exclaimed happily,I smiled.Lily gave us both a confused look,"who's Layne?"Chris and I both widened our eyes.Jerry went silent for a moment,"I'll uh...hang up now."the line went flat."uhh...."Chris trailed off,"well Lily...Layne is the lead singer of one of the bands I manage."I began to explain."he's also daddy's friend."I added,"oh,so he's like uncle Jerry?"she asked.I sighed out of relief,"yes baby."I replied."is he also like uncle Eddie?and uncle Dave?"she asked,Chris chuckled."yes Lily,Layne is like all of your uncles."he replied,"then im very excited to see him!"she said."I'll make him a card!"she excitedly left the room,running off to her room.
