"Laci,how do i look?"
"Laci are my drums ok?"
"Lac are the guitars tuned?"
"Babe can I go nuts?"
The guys were all extremely nervous about meeting with Guns N' Roses today.I told them not to worry so much,but of course they didn't listen.I sighed,"ok:Matt your drums are fine,Kim you look good,yes Ben the guitars are tuned,and yes babe you can go nuts."i said."thanks Laci!"the boys said,"thanks babe,"Chris said as he kissed my cheek."what would we do without you?"he asked,"drugs."I jokingly replied.he laughed,"you used that joke before."he pointed out."yeah,but I'm sure I'll think of something new."i said,"ah,so you guys must be SoundGarden!"we heard Slash say.we all turned around and saw Slash along with the rest of the Guns N' Roses band,the guys gasped.
"Laci,you got a phone call."someone said,"alright I'll be right there."i assured the guy."Slash these are the guys:Kim the lead guitarist,Matt our drummer,Ben our bassist,and Chris the leader and rhythm guitarist."I introduced them to the guys,"now I gotta go really quickly so if Chris ends up taking off his shirt it's completely normal."i said.Duff McKagan laughed,"I'll be right back."I assured Chris.I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and ran off,the guy handed me the phone.I thanked him and he walked off,"hello?"I answered."hey sis!"I heard Eddie say,my face lit up."hey Eddie!how's everything?"I asked,"fine,but I got a question."he said.
"what is it?"I asked,"ok so like,I know you're allowing me and the band to stay at your place for now."he began to state the obvious."yeah?"I said."and I know it's pretty stupid to ask this question,but I don't know much about my brother-in-law anyway so I'll ask anyway."he said,I crossed my arms."get to the point Eddie."i said,"ok,ok,who's Peter?"he asked.I raised an eyebrow in confusion,"who?"I said."that's the same thing I said."he said,I quickly glanced at Chris who was doing a sound check with the guys.
"Did you find out who he was?"I asked,what a stupid question."he said that he was Chris' brother."he replied,"did Chris ever talk to you about his family?"he asked."yeah but not that much,ya know?he's got some trauma around them,he's...had a bad childhood.I-I mean it wasn't bad but,he's done things..."I trailed off,"hey,hey,it's ok.don't stress so much about it,ok?you're already working so hard:managing 4 bands,being a good wife,and taking care of 4 man children."he said.I giggled,"yeah...yeah maybe you're right."I said."have some fun on tour Laci,I'll see you soon."he said,"see you soon Eddie."I said.he hung up,I sighed and put the phone down.
