"Layne!Demri!it's so good to see you both."I greeted Layne and Demri.Matt,Ben,and Kim were the first ones to arrive.Dave called me and told me that he was going to be a bit late,but I told him it was fine."hey!what about me?"Jerry asked,I giggled."it's good to see you too Jerry."I said,he grinned.as Chris greeted Layne,Demri,and Jerry I noticed a car pulling up.I smiled when I saw Krist and his wife Shelli,"hey Krist!hey Shelli!"i waved at them."hey Laci!"Shelli greeted me,we managed to hug."how are you Laci?"she asked,"I'm good,but I'm kinda worried about Kurt."i said as Krist walked off.she looked behind me,then she looked at me and sighed."Krist has been worried about Kurt too."she admitted,I gave her a concerned look.
"Hey,don't stress about Kurt:that's Krist's job,and besides stress isn't good for the baby."she said,pointing at my belly.I sighed,"you're right."i said.she smiled,"Krist got the baby a strange gift."she warned me jokingly."oh goody."I joked,we laughed.as we we about to walk inside we saw a two cars pull up,"sorry I'm late Laci,I was picking up Jennifer."Dave said as he got out of the car."you guys aren't late."I assured them,"it's nice to meet you Laci,I've heard a lot about you."she said."yeah I'm pretty famous."I joked,"you totally are!I mean:you're the manager for SoundGarden,Alice in Chains,and Screaming Trees!"she said.i was about to say something when we heard a car door slam,we turned around and saw Kurt and Courtney(and Frances).
"Oh god,this'll be fun."Dave mumbled,i gulped."come on babe."I heard Chris say,I turned around and saw him."let's go inside."he said,holding out his hand.I nodded and smiled,gently grabbing his hand.i looked back a bit and saw Dave,Jennifer,and Shelli walking towards Kurt,Courtney,and Frances.I gulped and looked back at Chris,"do you think it was a mistake inviting them?"I asked."Don't stress about it babe,it'll be ok."he said,gently kissing the side of my head.I exhaled,"you're right..."I trailed off."you're right."i said,smiling.he smiled back,as we walked inside however we heard arguing.
"oh brother."Chris groaned,I sighed in disappointment.Matt,Ben,and Kim were all yelling at each other.
"IM GODFATHER!"
"NO IM GODFATHER!"
"IM CLEARLY GODFATHER,I WAS CHRIS' FRIEND THE LONGEST!"
I rubbed my eyes,"I'll handle it babe."Chris assured me.he walked towards them and cleared his throat,"SHUT THE FUCK UP!"he yelled.the boys looked at him,"you're gonna stress out Laci,so quit the bullshit!"he scolded them.they all looked down guiltily,"sorry Laci."they all said.I giggled,"it's ok,I forgive you."i said.they all smiled,"what's all the yelling for?"Jerry said."don't worry about it Jer they just were arguing about who was godfather."I assured him,"I thought The Godfather was Marlon Brando?"he said.I facepalmed,"nah nah it was Al Pachino."Layne said."I'm pretty sure it's Robert Deniro."Krist said,I laughed.
