Laci's pov
"A toast!to SoundGarden and their third album!"Eddie said,I grinned."to us and our third album!"the band cheered,I giggled.today's Badmotorfinger's release, aka the day I have to start planning out the tour.we had already filmed some music videos for some songs off the album, now all we needed to do was get ready for tour."hey Cantell, when is your next album coming out?"Stone asked Jerry,"September!"Jerry replied with a confident grin.

"it's gonna be a fucking masterpiece when it comes out!"Chris exclaimed, everyone laughed."ok Chris I think you've had enough to drink."i joked, taking the drink away from Chris.he made a pouty face,"if you behave you'll get a reward after the party."I whispered in his ear.he widened his eyes, blushed, and looked at me.I smirked and nodded,a huge grin appeared on his face.

Timeskip to the tour!

Chris' pov
"FUCK!"I yelled, grabbing Laci and shielding her.the tour was a fucking nightmare so far,we were barely able to get in the car."is everyone ok?"Kim asked,"are you guys ok?"Laci asked."we're all fine and in one piece."Ben said,"does this normally happen?"Matt said.Laci and I both shook our heads no,i exhaled and rubbed my eyes in frustration.I guess I should explain what's going on:ok so basically one of our songs,Jesus Christ pose, got some popularity and not in a good way.

fucking MTV banned the music video from their channel and now people are on our ass, saying that it's anti-Christian!"Kim,Chris,you gotta say something about this."Laci said,"will it get them off our ass?"Kim asked."it's the goal."she said,"she's right Kim,we'll both say something."I said.he nodded,we all sat there in silence as the driver took us back to our hotel room.

"That was our first single from Badmotorfinger, but it never got any airplay because of the references to Jesus. And MTV wouldn't play the video because they didn't like the idea of a girl on the cross. There are no guitars in the video at all. There's not even a picture of a guitar in the video. It's like this hard, rock-fast, punk-metal video that has no instruments in the whole thing. And it's a six minute video!"-Kim Thayil

"The way [MTV's] programming works is like a commercial radio station, the shorter the video, the more videos they can play, and—they figured I guess that in the normal hours people watch videos they're not going to want to watch something for six minutes."-Chris Cornell
