Chris' pov
"Ooooo!show us the ring dear!"Mona said to Laci.it was the morning after I proposed to Laci,Mona and John couldn't be happier."welcome to the family son."he said while Laci was showing the ring to Mona,"oh Chris,the ring is beautiful!"Mona gushed."it's not at beautiful as Laci."i said as I gently grabbed Laci's hand,"babeee."she said as her cheeks flushed red."so when's the wedding?"John asked,"we were thinking about having it in December."Laci replied.I nodded in agreement,"it would make things a lot easier for the both of us since the tour is going to start again and we'll be recording our third album soon."i explained."have you found a bassist yet?"Mona asked,"no not yet."I replied."I'm sure you'll find one before the album and tour."John assured me and Laci,"thanks dad."she said.
Laci's pov
Taking a trip down memory lane,Chris and I left my parents house to go find Brianna and Stevie.they were my best friends,and it was fair that they should know about Chris proposing to me.we quickly stopped by a diner,it was the same diner I accompanied Chris and the band to.this time Chris was on the phone,telling the band that he proposed to me.I could hear them excitedly cheering through the phone,I giggled."alright,I gotta go now.yeah,Laci and I are telling Brianna and Stevie next.ok,bye guys."Chris said,he ended the call and sat down next to me."sorry about how loud they probably were."he said,I giggled."worry more about eating."i said,feeding him some of my pancakes.
