No one's pov Chris and Laci were fast asleep in bed,cuddling in bed.what they didn't know though,was that their children were preparing a special breakfast for their dad.Chris Jr was trying his best to help Toni stir,but there was only so much his little hands could do,and it didn't help that he still had weak muscles.Lily,being the good older sister,lifted her brother up and let him pour the batter into the waffle maker.Toni carefully cooked the eggs,remembering what Lily told her about burning them.soon,the birthday breakfast was done.now came the dangerous part,the thing only Lily could do:light a candle.they stuck a birthday candle on the stack of waffles and gulped,"careful Lily."Chris Jr said.
Lily nodded.she struck the match against the box,Chris Jr quietly gasped and hid behind Toni.Lily's hand slightly shook as she held the lit match against the candle,once the candle was lit Lily quickly blew out the match and threw it In the sink.she let out a breathe she didn't realize she was holding in,she turned around and faced her siblings."ready?"they nodded,Lily and Toni walked with the tray in their hands while Chris Jr walked in front of them.he quietly opened the door and peeked his head in,his parents were still sound asleep.Chris fully opened the door,letting Toni and Lily in.Chris held up three fingers,after putting down the third one the kids screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" And woke up their parents.Laci yawned while Chris rubbed his eyes,"happy birthday daddy!"Toni said.
She almost let go of the tray,but Chris Jr swooped in and caught it."oh kids..."Laci said,"you guys made this for me?"Chris asked."of course daddy!"Lily said,"we helped!"Chris Jr said.Toni nodded in agreement,Laci smiled as she helped pick up the tray from the Lily and Chris Jr.Chris smiled as they hopped into bed,"ya know,"he pulled the kids closer to him."I'm the luckiest rockstar dad in the world."the kids(as well as Laci)happily smiled,"how bout we all share?"Chris suggested.
