𝔉𝔬𝔲𝔯 hours and one extremely time-consuming meeting that it turned out you barely even needed to be there for later, you walked quietly through the halls, entering your rooms with an entirely different destination in mind.
You took a quick second change into your training clothes, the form-fitting black bodysuit and scarf to keep your hair back that somehow managed to be comfortable and practical. And it definitely didn't hurt your style. About to leave, you suddenly got an idea. Your palace, your rules, and it was probably your turn with the game by now anyway. And he'd had long enough to sleep it off. So you changed directions, opening the windows on the far side of your room and stepping out onto the terraced staccato that decorated the outside of the building. Which conveniently also provided the perfect paths along the outside of the palace.
Ignoring the dizzying drop below you, you confidently made your way over to the windows of Blind Diamond's room, swinging your way through the open window with a practiced ease.
He was still on the bed where you'd left him, on his back with a peaceful expression on his face. You almost hated to wake him. Almost.
Well, if you were going to wake him up, why not have fun with it? You crept over to his side and considered your options. Coming to a conclusion, you slipped a gloved hand across his mouth and whispered, "Don't move, we have you surrounded."
His breathing changed, and in a split second he'd flipped you over his side and pinned your wrists next to your head. You glared up at him as he opened his eyes. "Princess?" His grip slackened slightly in surprise, and you locked your legs around his waist, using his body weight to flip him over onto his back.
You quickly broke his grip on your wrists and pinned him down instead, smirking down at him. "Your Highness."
You'd no doubt he could break your grip if he so chose, but instead he relaxed a little and gave you a charming grin. "And what brings you into my room today? After dark, nonetheless?"
You suddenly realized the rather compromising position you found yourself in, and the fact coupled with his remark turned your cheeks red in seconds. "I- what-" You scrambled up, wordless, and he sat up as well, giving you an appraising look.
"So you're some sort of ninja now?"
"You're the one who knew me as the Warrior Princess." You cocked a hip, arms folded. "I was supposed to check on you, see if you were awake yet. And to see if you wanted to train with me."
He shrugged softly, still smirking lightly. "Sure, Princess. Whatever you say."

You strolled down the outside of the building, Blind Diamond following you carefully. He mumbled a couple words in Elvish after hearing of the way you planned to get to the training grounds, but followed you nonetheless. Pulling aside a shutter, you frowned when you saw the window closed and locked. You rapped impatiently with your knuckles, and a couple seconds later a face appeared. The face smirked, the window unlocked, and you swung yourself in. Blind Diamond followed you, albeit slightly more awkwardly.
"Thanks, Spot," You said with a nod.
"Yeah, no problem." The boy crossed his arms over his chest, looking at your trailer with a raised eyebrow. "Who's the pirate?"
"This is Blind Diamond," You replied, grinning slightly.
Blink looked at the other boy, slightly disappointed to see no reaction.
"Right. You gonna train, then? Need a partner or anythin'?" Spot turned his attention back to you after a careful examination of the pirate.
"Sure, you're welcome to come." You smiled at him, and Blink frowned a tiny bit.
Spot smirked slightly. "Let's get a move on then."
You linked your arm with the prince's and he couldn't help but puff up slightly as he followed you out the door and down the hall to the training center.

You stretched your arm out, fingertips barely brushing the protrusion of rock you needed to reach. Your legs were shaking slightly from excursion, the muscles tired and unused to this. You'd fallen out of shape in the past few weeks, and you frowned at your lapse as you pushed up and jumped, catching hold of the rock. A couple seconds later had you on top of the rock wall, seated on the small platform provided for rest as you looked out over the rest of the gym.
Blink and Spot were locked in an intense sparring match, Blink having borrowed some training clothes from the other boy and picked a sword from the practice rack. The boys were nearly equally matched, but Blink seemed to have a slight upper hand in height, reach, and maybe a little stamina-wise too. And general annoyance, perhaps, you mused, a little smirk coming to your lips as you thought of how ticked off he seemed each time you even acknowledged Spot.
You watched the rest of their fight from your perch high above, letting your muscles untense themselves before you attempted to climb down. The prince ended up winning, and you were pleasantly surprised to note the handshake and general comradery that followed. Men. You shook your head softly.
The two reracked their weapons, and Blink used the hem of his shirt to wipe his face. Unfortunately, you weren't at a great angle, but it didn't stop you from letting out a cheeky whistle.
Blink looked around for you. And then looked around again. And then you took pity on the boy and started your descent, dropping the last five feet or so to land on the ground, only to be caught by a pair of strong arms.
"I guess you fell for me, huh," Your pirate commented, looking entirely too pleased with himself.
"I jumped," You corrected. "And I guess I did."
