"U-um... hey Y/n? I'm done." Bruno said through a crack in the door. "But... t-these pants... don't uh fit. They're too big." He opened the door a bit more and I saw him holding up grey sweatpants with both of his hands having a handful of the waistband.

I blushed and walked over to him. "Easy solution, I do this with my pants all the time, do you mind?" I gestured to the waistband. He quickly handed it to me and I focused all my attention on the floor. "First I roll it once, then I tie the strings into a little bow," I narrated every action as I did it, making sure to be extra careful not to mess up. "Then I roll it a couple... more... times... done!"

He dropped the large shirt and admired the fit. "Fits like a glove, thank you." We both had a bright blush on our faces.

"Anyway I should probably get the laundry around to do later." I said, quickly going into the bathroom. 'I just saw Bruno Madrigal's bare chest and almost his... STOP THINKING ABOUT THAT YOU PERVERT!' I mentally scolded myself, grabbing the torn up clothes and walking out of the bathroom. As I did, something fell out of his pants pocket. I looked at it curiously before recognizing it as a fortune shard. He must've hidden or lost the other pieces, because I snooped and couldn't find anymore.

"Y/n," he said as soon as I closed the door behind me, "you said earlier you wished for me... what does that mean? Do a lot of people do that here? Am I like, a hot topic, or something?" He asked nervously.

"You're getting really good at asking questions." I chuckled, opening my bedroom door and tossing his tattered belongings onto my nearby desk chair. I quietly tossed the shard onto my bed and watched it bounce under the blanket. "But to answer your questions: there was shooting stars and it's common to wish under them. I'm considered weird here, so obviously I used my wish to meet my favourite character!" I said without thinking.

"You're... mmm... favourite?" He said, trying to process what I said.

I chuckled and grabbed a broom from the kitchen. "Yeah of course! Are you not supposed to be?"

"W-well it's just... everyone in the encanto kinda hates me. I have this thing where I can... I can look into the future, and they blame me for whenever I tell them about their life. It's okay though, I get where they're coming from." He hung his head as I sweeped the rest of the glass up.

"I don't." I said, paying attention to my work. I could see his head snap up out of the corner of my eye before he quickly looked back down. "You're just doing what they asked you to do, and it's not like you're specially crafting their futures to whatever it is that you want. It's just... it's like you were handed a script and told to preform, but they're critics and they are attacking the writing but still blaming you for it, even though you weren't involved in the process."

He looked at me, almost confused. Before I could explain myself. He gave me a small smile. "I know what you mean! Also, how did you know I wanted to be and actor?"

I looked away with a guilty smile. "J-just a wild guess." There was a small moment of silence as I prepared a small meal for us to eat. "I know it's not anything you're used to, but you need to eat something. Even though you're quite built for how lean you are."

"Oh, thanks, it's all the stairs in my room." He said as he started eating what I made. I blushed, not realizing I had said the end out loud, but he didn't seem to notice. He was already halfway done before I even began.
