River's house, 6 p.m.
"I DON'T CARE, YOU'RE GOING!" I shouted at my brother from my room. We were getting ready for the ceremony. Or, I was getting ready. Matthew still didn't believe all of this is real and he said that the ceremony will be boring.
"I SAID I'M WAKING UP FROM THIS DREAM SOON!" He shouted at me from downstairs, his only mood for the whole day was angry
"IT'S NOT A DREAM NOW GO PREPARE OR WE'LL GONNA BE LATE!! Ugh..!"
I took a shower before this madness and now I'm choosing an outfit for the ceremony from the closet which somehow already had a lot of clothes
Riverp.o.v: Yes, this is the one!.. I hope Matthew's in his room preparing already
I couldn't hear him shout anymore, so let's just hope.

I let my hair down from a ponytail I wore the whole day and just combed it, since i didn't think of a hairstyle. I went downstairs where I found my brother at least somehow properly dressed up, annoyingly looking at me.
"Took you long enough."
"Thanks Matthew" I smiled at him and then gave him a small hug
"Let's go now!"
I walked outside with my brother behind me and I looked amazed at all the lights coming from the crowd of people preparing to go to La Casa Madrigal. Tonight was really special, and beautiful.
We joined the crowd and just in time we went to the Madrigal's house in a parade. I saw a Madrigal welcoming all the people coming in.
It was Camilo
He saw me looking at him, I smiled. He looked me up and down and then smirked at me.
I frowned at him after, I didn't feel comfortable with him doing this. We didn't even meet yet!
We're here... We're in La Casa Madrigal. I'm nervous. I hugged my brother one last time and then went to grab some food.
There were arepas, empanadas, obleas, and tortillas. I took one piece from each type of the food. I'm so excited! I always wanted to try exotic food!
Mirabel came up to me with an arepa, happily looking at me
"HweyRwiver!" (Hey River!) She said with a mouthful of a piece from the arepa
"Hey Mirabel! I see arepas are your favourite huh?" I scoffed at her
"Haha- yeah!" She said after she swallowed the food she had in her mouth
"You should try it, they're good! Especially from my mom, Julieta"
I took a bite from an arepa I had on my plate. My eyes widened and i took a other bite
"Oh mwygwoshthey'we so gwood!" (Oh my gosh they're so good!" I said excitedly
"I know right!.. Oh shoot! I forgot I wanted to give something to Antonio, I gotta go sorry River, see you later!" She said hurrying up the stairs and into the nursery
"See ya!" I shouted at her while I still could
10 minutes later...
The ceremony started, everyone got silent and the spotlight went on Abuela Alma that was standing on the staircase. She started her speech about how they got the miracle. A while later, the spotlight went on Antonio.
He turned around and he was talking to someone. Everyone whispered to each other. I whisper-shouted:
"Don't worry Antonio! You got this!"
He smiled nervously, trying to find the person who said this, in the crowd. He turned around again and held out his hand. Mirabel came out from behind the wall
She held his hand and nervously looked at the crowd. Everyone was looking confused and Abuela was confused as well, with a little bit of anger in her face. They slowly started to walk towards the staircase, Mirabel looked at me like if she was saying: I'm nervous, what should I do?
I whispered to her: "Just like I said at the lake, I know the ceremony will work out. Believe me!"
She smiled at me and mouthed 'thank you'. They went up the stairs where Pepa and Felix were waiting with Abuela beside his unrevealed door. Antonio touched the candle and then the doorknob. The door lit up with a golden color and a toucan landed on his shoulder
"Uh-huh, uh-huh.. I understand you!.." He said. "Of course they can come!" He said next and then a group of different animals ran behind us up the stairs with a few birds landing next to Antonio
"We have a new gift!" Abuela announced..
