"My dear you were simply marvelous!" Alastor declared proudly, twirling you as you had made your way back over to their table after your set. You giggled and smiled at him and then everyone else.

"Thanks. So uh, shall we head back?"

"Right-o!"

And in that instant between you and Alastor, everyone including yourselves was back in the lobby of the hotel.

"Man I don't think I'll get used to that teleportation shit." Husk grumbled, holding onto his stomach.

"Maybe drink less, might help." You teased.

"Like you're one to talk. But aye, you did good tonight kid." And with that Husk walked off to do whatever.

"Wow, a compliment from Husk. With that sort of luck I should buy a lottery ticket." You snickered.

"Say uh, Y/n. What's up with my boss coming to watch you perform?" Angel asked.

You rolled your eyes with disgust. "He comes to scope out the people that work there. Some of them are genuinely into it and wind up leaving with him, can't knock 'em for it. I'm not one of those people. But you know him, say 'no' and he hears 'yes', say 'get lost' he hears 'take me, I'm yours.'"

You were startled slightly by Alastor, feeling him place his hand on the small of your back as he stood closer to you. "You'll tell us if he bothers you again, yes?" He asked, a hint of anger laced with the static filter of his voice.

"Of course." You said sincerely, looking up at him. "But you know I can handle him myself."

"We just don't want anything to happen." Charlie admitted. "You might be able to handle Val alone, but if he gets the whole triple V involved then we have a real issue."

"Noted."

After some idle conversation everyone scampered off, presumably to go to sleep or do whatever it is they did in their free time. Alastor walked you to your room.

"Care to come in for a drink or two?" You asked, using the key to open your door.

His smile widened with content. "How could I say no?"

You both stepped inside as you snapped your fingers turning in the light, walking over to your mini-bar by the wall next to your balcony while Alastor sat in a coffin-shaped loveseat by the lit electric fireplace. He couldn't help but watch you, eyeing how your hips swung as you walked and silently admiring every aspect of your figure. He felt a hint of blush dust his pale ivory cheeks, but he was simply mesmerized by your beauty. He shook his head and diverted his gaze toward the fireplace instead, trying to shirk any impure thoughts that passed through his mind.

"What's your poison?" You asked after pouring yourself a drink.

"Surprise me, sweetheart."

You smiled at his term of endearment and poured him Jack over some ice, and walked back over to the loveseat; handing his glass to him before taking a sip of yours. He thanked you as he sipped from it.

"Again darling I must say you were positively splendid tonight, I had no idea you were a woman of many talents!" He praised, turning his body to face you.

You smiled once more and brought your legs up onto the couch closer to your body. "Jack of all trades, master of none."

"The full statement ends with 'still more useful than the master of one.'" He said, his smile softening to a more gentle one. You chuckled and nodded.

"Thank you Alastor. I appreciate it."

"Not to mention you looked simply ravishing.~" He cooed.

"Now you're just trying to butter me up."
