(A/n: brief torture warning.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Smile, darn ya, smile!
Ya know this old world is a great world afterall!"Alastors chipper voice rang out from the top of the stairs as the door opened, light from the floor above flooding down the steps and shown upon the weak demon at the bottom. Shane winced at the light after almost two weeks of darkness, and scowled at the silhouette of the radio demon who stood at the top and broke the silence.
The coyotes eyes were sunken, dark circles lined them from fatigue; as Alastor's little shadow minions took great pleasure in keeping Shane awake by causing relentless nightmares or mild forms of torture. He was starving as well, his stomach growled and quivered within his body and ached from hunger with no relief.
The stag then glitched out and teleported down the stairs, directly in front of the victim in question. Shane coward before him for a moment as he saw the radio demons alternate form; monstrously tall with jagged long antlers and a skeletal face with vibrant red radio dials for pupils amidst the black voids that surrounded them.
As soon as the coyote opened his eyes again, Alastor still stood in front of him, but now in his normal form.
"Smile, darn ya, smile!
And right away watch Lady Luck pay you a call!"Al used his magic to prop up the weak demon as shadows of various sizes crept from off the walls and slid across the floor surrounding them, holding Shane firmly upright. Eerie bits of laughter emanated from them as they watched their master with eagerness and awaited further instruction.
"Things are never black as they are painted,
Time for you and joy to get acquainted
Make life worth while!
Smile, darn ya, smile!""What is it with you two singing all the time like some demented fucking disney characters?!" Shane spat with annoyance through gritted teeth.
"It's all entertainment, my good fellow!" Al snickered smugly.
"Just end me already..." Shane spoke lowly, his voice caught in his throat as he reluctantly admitted defeat. "I almost wish Y/n never nearly croaked. Just so this would be over with by now."
"Oh, don't you worry. She's been up on her feet for quite some time now, she's practically her old self again! Which unfortunately, for you, means~"
"Al, what have I told you about playing with your food?" Your voice rang out from the top of the stairs, the sound of your heels hitting the stairs on the way down echoing in the hollow damp room.
"Oh darling come on now, I wouldn't say playing;" he sneered, leaning in to the side of the coyotes face, a little too close for comfort as Alastors distorted voice was right next to him. "Fear seasons the meat so nicely, is all."
You giggled at the site of your beloved radio demon heckling and terrorizing the person you loathed the most, who was trying to look away from Alastor, but the stags claws sank in deep into his chin as he held him there. A small, steady stream of crimson flowed slowly from the puncture wounds and dribbled down his chin. Alastor looked back over at you and noticed a gleam in your eye as a smirk started to curl in the left side of your face, before turning into a full blown smile. "Something on your mind, dear?" He asked, grinning at you devilishly.
You bit your lower lip with excitement as you waked over to where they were and stood behind Shane, holding his head from the back while Al kept a steady grip on his chin. "He doesn't look very happy." You said simply. You took your index fingers, your smokey black claws lightly traced from the corners of his mouth outward; outlining the shape of a wide smile without breaking the skin... yet.
