"Dude, I'm gonna strangle your fuckin' boss. With a piano wire. I swear to Satan."

"Please, do not do that."

"Nah it's hands on site."

"Y/n, please don't fight my boss."

"Hands. On. Site. Andrew." You enunciated, clapping your hands on each syllable as you spoke before adjusting the strap on your dress as it dug into your shoulder. "I keep telling you to leave that place... I hate seeing you frustrated like this. Besides this is the third time he's made you late. I don't mind a long night, bud, but my body is exhausted and I'm about to take it out on him."

He sighed and slumped into his seat, setting the guitar he was tuning down and propped against the wall behind him. "I know. I don't know why it's so hard for me to do that. I think I'm just scared."

"Stockholm syndrome maybe?" You wondered, throwing a sympathetic look in his direction as you walked over and sat beside him. The other bandmates were disassembling their instruments as they began to scamper off stage, another show night at the hotel accomplished.

It had been several weeks since the night Alastor proposed, and things at the hotel (and the lounge) were going wonderfully. All except for the fact that Andrew's boss was -purposefully- setting him up to be late for work here. Almost as if it was just to spite him or the rest of you by doing so. Charlie was fairly lenient with forgiving Andrew, not blaming him for the way the man he worked for was. You couldn't be angry at him either. You were, however, becoming very ticked at the man responsible. Any time the wolf had talked about his day after working a shift with the alleged man you grew to dislike him more and more based on what you had heard.

"Probably." He sighed.

"I'm telling you, just don't go back there. No call, no show. If he comes sniffing around here looking for you, tell me and I'll handle it." You offered.

Andrew watched as you slumped forward in the chair beside him and begrudgingly took your heels off, sighing heavily with relief once your feet were flat upon the floor. "You alright?" He asked. You nodded.

"Yeah I've just been kinda sore lately."

"Everything okay?"

"Mhm." You hummed, summoning a much needed joint in between your fingers and lighting it once you and him were the only ones back stage. Satan forbid Vaggie caught you smoking in the hotel, you'd never hear the end of it. You french inhaled the earthy smoke before exhaling. "Haven't been sleeping well either. Which is like, really weird considering I've been so tired. I don't know. I'd have times like that when I was alive, where I didn't feel 100% for a while and then suddenly I'd be fine. It's probably just a fluke."

"Better be, we don't need to see you back in the hospital."

Al's voice startled the both of you as he stood back behind another curtain and walked over. "Hun!! Don't jinx it!" You chuckled, passing the joint to Andrew and feeing the warm buzz of the weed slowly creep in, almost hugging you as it began dulling some of your muscle soreness.

He chuckled and held his hands up in a sign of nonverbal defense. "I'm not, just looking out for my beloved. Good evening, Andrew. Good show tonight as usual." He stated neutrally as he looked over at the wolf.

"Thanks Al. You managed to catch it?"

"I caught the last few songs, Charlie has had me buried in paperwork again or I would've come down sooner. Your boss kept you late again, I heard." He said.

"I keep telling him to just quit." You interjected, taking the joint back after Andrew had hit it. "I also told him that I'm just gonna fight the guy if he doesn't."
