Chapter 34

"Such a pity, some people just don't learn..." Alastor sneered, dragging a claw into the side of the coyotes face as he toyed with him; waiting for yours and Charlie's return.

"Laugh while you can, hot-shot." Shane snickered, wincing slightly at the tightening grip that the stag had on him. "She ain't gonna be yours for very much longer."

Alastor narrowed his eyes in curiosity as he eyed the vermin in his grasp, wondering where he even got the audacity to be talking back to him in such a manner let alone make a bold statement like that.

Your voice then cut through the air like a sharp knife, alerting the buck.

"Alastor!!"

His ears flicked toward the direction of your voice the moment he heard it, adrenaline beginning to course through him at the sound. You sounded almost frantic, never before had he heard your voice crack in fear like that. Something was wrong.

Teleporting himself and Shane to the room you were in Alastor seethed in anger and shock, seeing your limp body draped over Valentinos arm with a sickeningly wide grin on his face. He absentmindedly let go of the coyote as he took in the site before him, now more focused on your well-being.

"Let. Her. Go." Venom practically dripped from Alastor's voice, standing tall and intimidating. His antlers grew and now more pointed; almost jagged. His eyes completely black with the exception of piercing red radio dials for pupils. Various voodoo symbols floated around him as the around of frequencies and static filled the air around them, his legendary smile stretching painfully wide from ear to  ear.

"No, I don't think I will." Val laughed.

"What's all the commotion- oh, no..." Charlie yelled and then trailed off as she walked in on the situation at hand, Vaggie in tow close behind.

"Don't worry you'll see her again..." the pimp sneered reaching into his pocket and pulling something out and holding it within his closed fist. "In some of my movies, that is~." With that, he dropped a smoke bomb onto the floor and in a matter of mere seconds the entire room filled with pink and purple smoke, practically gassing out the entire lobby as Charlie, Vaggie, Molly and Alastor coughed and shielded their eyes from the particles.

By the time the smoke cleared you and Valentino were gone, and so was Shane. The room was eerily quiet, one could hear a pin drop. The tension in the air was almost as thick as the smoke that once filled it a moment prior.

After a brief moment of very uncomfortable silence Alastor craned his neck backwards and looked at Molly, who was now curled up on the floor hyperventilating with fear. "What happened?" He asked bluntly. Static barely evident in his voice anymore, which was somehow a little more frightening than the distortion that normally filtered it.

"I... I..." she stammered.

"I-I- Answer me!" He mocked in rage. "What. Happened??"

"She... Her back was turned... Val came up behind her and... he got her with this stuff he said was like anesthesia..." she whimpered and began sobbing. Charlie went over and crouched down beside her rubbing her back in some attempt to console her while they looked at each other trying to get a grasp on the situation.

"How... Do you know what he subdued her with?" Vaggie asked with uncertainty as she eyed the woman.

Molly started crying harder as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a similar looking syringe to the one Val used that you had dropped onto the floor. The trio stared at her in disbelief as she angrily threw it onto the ground and held her head in her hands. "He told me that if I did this for him he would help save me but I... I couldn't do it... It felt wrong... you guys tried to help me and I... I couldn't save her and I'm so sorry..."
