"Hey uh, Princess?" Andrew asked over the phone, sitting on the front steps of his apartment building while he lit a joint for himself.

"Andrew I told you," Charlie laughed softly. "please, call me Charlie. What's up?"

"I uh... I'm gonna be late this Saturday. My boss is making me stay and close... I'm gonna try to close up early though."

"Oh!! Uhm.. That's fine, I'll just let Y/n know. We'll work something out, don't worry."

"I'm really sorry. I tried to explain that I couldn't but he wouldn't have it." He sighed, taking a long drag inhaling the earthy tasting smoke.

"Andrew it's fine, we'll make due I just appreciate you giving us a heads up."

"Is that Drew??" He heard your voice call out from the background, and couldn't suppress a chuckle as smoke escaped his lips.

"Hiii Y/n."

"Drew!!" You said again, this time more audible as you took the phone from Charlie, and sat politely on her desk next to her while she looked bewildered that you just took her phone out of her hand.

"What's going on man, I can feel your melancholy vibes from all the way over here." You asked.

"Boss had his panties up in a bunch, I'm just kinda irritated."

"Hmph. Tell ya what, Angel and I got some shopping to do. What say him and I come get you, hang out for a bit if you aren't too busy, maybe get a drink or two; and see if we can't brighten your spirits?" You offered.

His brows raised as he pondered your offer, he could use a day to relax and unwind with his friend. He didn't know much about Angel Dust other than he was a pornstar but he figured if he was decent enough for you to like him then he was probably fine. "Yeah! I'm ready, pretty much whenever you guys are."

"Sweet. I'll have Charlie give you my number and you can text me the address, I'll let you know when we're on our way. Kay?"

"Sounds good. See you in a bit."

You smiled and hung up, handing the phone back to Charlie, who along with Vaggie, blinked owlishly at you. "You just-"

"Can you send him my number pretty please~?" You asked politely.

"Yeah..." Charlie murmured, quickly sending him a screenshot of your contact listing and looking back over at you and Alastor. "Al, uh while we got you in here we need to talk to you about something."

You looked down at your nails as you stayed seated on her desk, then perked up when you heard Al's name and looked over at him.

"Need me to leave?" You asked.

"You're fine, my dear." He said with a dismissive wave before turning over to Charlie. "What is it?"

"I've talked to my father recently. He says he's almost certain an early extermination is rearing its head." She said quietly.

Vaggie moved closer to her lover and wrapped a comforting arm around her shoulder as she added on. "We're... Going to need help when it happens. There's quite a few people that are interested in staying and some of them are already began checking in. Charlie could try to hold down the fort herself when it happens but we'd feel a lot better with extra protection here."
