(A/n: Hello my lovelies! Heartedly sorry for the semi-scattered updates, I've been taking a few days off here and there from writing. Also took a few days off from work as well... Due to the holiday this weekend and a funeral service for a family member, as well as just general exhaustion, ya girl needed a break 😂 BUT in lighter news, my pet spider is getting big y'all 🥺 he's still a lil baby, but he just molted/shed again and I'm so happy! "Oh, Y/n~!"

Alastor poked his head through the cracked open door, turning your attention from the window to your lover who called to you. It had been about two days since you had seen everyone. Two days, which although were pleasant due to having Alastor's company around, it was also becoming mundane. Relaxing was one thing, but to sit around and be stationary all the time was starting to bug you.

"Yeees?"

"Wonderful news!" He announced as he stepped through the threshold of the hospital room. "I just had a word with one of your doctors, they're coming in soon to take out the sutures and the IV."

"Finally!" You sighed with a small smile. Alastor held up a finger as if to say he wasn't finished yet.

"And, they're talking about releasing you today." He added, his smile reaching his glowing red eyes as he watched you visibly perk up with excitement.

"Really??" You grinned, thrilled at the idea of finally getting out of here. The staff here was nice, but you were getting antsy as all fuck from practically being bedridden in these white walls that surrounded you.

He chuckled and nodded, adjusting his monocle. "Now I don't know if they are for certain, it's just something they're heavily considering. He should be coming in here in a moment or two."

"I really hope so, I'm too fidgety for this." You smiled sheepishly.

"What do you want to do when you're released, darling? Just say the word." He practically cooed, his voice smooth as his tone lulled your senses.

"I wanna eat." You laughed, Alastor chuckling to himself at how you answered with no hesitation. "Sorry, I know the IV has enough to keep me nourished but I would kill for actual food right now."

"Wouldn't you kill anyway?"

"Touché." You giggled. Then a light went off in your head as you got an idea. "Maybe we can surprise Mimzy!"

His eyes widened at the idea. "My, that would be splendid! Say hello to our dear friend, grab a bite to eat, enjoy a drink or two~ Marvelous idea, sweetheart!"

Knock knock

You both turned your attention as the door opened, revealing none other than the King of Pride entering through your door.

"Ah! Well isn't this a site for sore eyes, Y/n, how are you? Glad to see you coherent!" His smile stretched across his face, a surprised and pleased look in his eyes as he gazed upon you. You smiled back politely.

"Not shabby, I might look a little worse than I feel but that's about it." You answered, nodding your head downward to gesture at the fading bruises and the like.

"Not to worry doll, you looked much worse when you came in here."

"Oh that's comforting." You mused with sarcasm, earning a chuckle from Alastor who stood next to you.

"Charmed to see you again, Lucy." Alastor greeted him through slightly gritted teeth. His unrelenting annoyance with Lucifer was still a bit amusing to you, but you knew better than to instigate the situation.
