"Dinner first, sweetheart!" He exclaimed, keeping you close as you began to walk wherever he led you. "After that, how about a show?"

"A show you say?" You hummed.

"Yes indeedy! There's a theatre a few blocks from here, they perform plays there!"

Your eyes widened with intrigue and excitement. "Oh I haven't been to a play since I was a teenager!"

He grinned at you with half lidded eyes. "Excited?"

You nodded eagerly.

"I'm glad to hear that."

As you made your way to the restaurant demons on the streets either scattered or watched in awe, seeing two of some of the most fearsome demons walking arm in arm. You both found yourself amused at the frightened denizens as you engaged in banter; talking about your days.

Alastor led you to a very upscale looking place, and held you slightly tighter as you entered the establishment. You didn't necessarily mind, although you were surprised at how he seemed to want to be close to you. Perhaps it was some sort of try at a display of dominance, who knows. You smirked subtly at the thought. Cute.

The hostess's heart visibly sank as she noticed the two of you, both smiling from ear to ear.

"What's the matter dear?" Alastor playfully asked the hostess who was now nervously fumbling a pile of menus.

"You look as though you've seen a ghost!" You added, further instigating the rising anxiety in the poor demoness.

"Do... you have a reservation?" She stammered, her body rigid from fear.

Alastor smiled sickly sweet and leaned in, towering over as he rest an elbow on the podium she stood at. "Reservation for Alastor."

"...rightthisway." She said with a gulp as she led you to your table and handed you both menus, before hauling ass back to the front of the restaurant. You giggled as you watched her run. "I never get tired of seeing them scamper like that."

"Indeed. So, Y/n-" he started, you turned to look back at him and hummed in response. "Just out of curiosity, your lounge singer job, when is the next time you're scheduled to perform?"

"Tomorrow. I'm on every other Friday, usually."

"As I mentioned before I visit frequently but have yet to witness a performance of yours, I thought perhaps I may escort you." He mused in a soft, almost haunting tone.

You raised your brows in surprise. "Won't you be too busy with work?" You asked, leaning in with a bemused smirk.

He propped up his elbow on the table and rested his chin in his hand, his gaze never leaving you. "I'd rather watch and listen to you. You're significantly more entertaining."

"You're quite a charmer, you know that?" You flirted, seeing if he would lean into your comment or recoil from it.

"Maybe I do know." He mused. Only to be interrupted by a waitress bringing over a bottle of wine and two glasses, and took your order before scurrying off.

"I hope you don't mind dear, I ordered our drinks ahead of time when I called to make sure they had it available." He explained as he poured two hefty glass fulls before handing one to you, you accepted it and brought the glass to your lips and drank in the dark, berry colored bitter liquid.

"I don't mind at all. You've got good taste, I must say." You said still tasting the wine on your tongue after swallowing.

"Of course I have good taste, that's why I'm here with you."
