(Hello! My lovelies, my deers, delinquents and fellow stag-daddy-simps~ How y'all doin? So nice to see you, you look great! Hope you've been drinking enough water lately.
I've decided I want to go ahead and start a sequel. I can't guarantee when *exactly* I'll begin publishing it, hopefully soon, but your patience is appreciated as I'm working on other stories. And autumn is approaching which is a fairly busy season for me, but, I'll do my absolute best to try to keep things going.
I started this as an intro for the future sequel, and wanted to share it with you all. Eventually I'll probably repost this segment when I officially start the next story, but anyways.
Sit back, relax, maybe grab a snack and get comfortable: our story begins where we left off...)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Knock
Knock
Knock
You groaned quietly as you rolled onto your back, stirring from a pleasant sleep at the sound that alerted you.
"Its your turn." Alastor grumbled into his pillow.
"It was my turn last time too." You muttered, rubbing your eyes and blinking them open, hearing your husband begin to roll over. "I got it, I got it."
You snapped your fingers as you sat up in bed, a floor-length crimson robe covering your once naked physique, tying the waistband in a bow. You yawned as you got up, hearing three more gentle knocks as you walked to the door. You opened the door to see your daughter, clutching a teddy bear for dear life. Her glowing red eyes were puffy from crying, and black tears streamed down her cute little face. She was sniffling softly as she looked up at you. Her adorable deer ears drooping flat against her head, it broke your black heart to see her like that. "Mommy?"
"Sweetie," you cooed quietly. She wept softly and hugged your leg, you shushed her gently and bent over to hug her back. Gently pulling her off so you could crouch down and be at eye level with her as you shut the bedroom door behind you. She sniffled again as her eyes fluttered back open and she looked at you, letting you carefully wipe her tears away and smooth out her long, tussled black hair.
"What's wrong my little lovebug? Hmm?" You asked gently.
"I... I h-had a bad dream..." she sniveled.
"Awh~." You cooed, pouting a little as you let her come in for another hug. She let out little whimpers as she nestled her face into your shoulder, wrapping her arms around you as if she was afraid to let go. You kissed the side of her head as you rubbed her back in effort to console her. You carefully picked her up and held her on your hip, wrapping your arms under her to support her while she clung to you like a little koala.
"Wanna tell Mommy what happened?" You asked softly, slowly walking down the hall back to the twins bedroom.
She pulled away from nuzzling you and she rubbed her weary weeping eyes. Her lip quivered as she nodded and took a deep breath in. "The bad angels came... And... and took you and Daddy away from us... And we never saw you again..." she took a shakey breath in as more inky black tears streamed down her cheeks. "It was so scary, Momma..."
"Awh sweetie..." you hummed, hugging her again and smoothing her hair as you walked down the hall. Candles along the walls slowly illuminating your way, each one lighting a flame of it's own just as you were about to cross it's path. "That does sound like a really scary dream."
You carefully let go and held her with one arm as you turned the knob on their bedroom door, it opened slowly and -thankfully- quietly. S/n seemingly sound asleep in his bed. "But that's all it is, sweetpea. It's just a really scary dream. We're still here." You whispered.
