~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~
Alastor hummed to himself with a wide, beaming smile as he walked the long and winding sidewalks. His eyes scanning the streets and various signs in search of something specific.
He had an idea of a little surprise, one just for you. It wasn't anything extravagant or stupendous, but, he was certain you'd appreciate it all the same. Just something to give you as a token of his undying affection. He was on the hunt for a jewelry store, fixing to find you something nice to wear this evening to match with the dress you and him had picked out. He had gotten the idea last night while you were sitting in front of your vanity mirror playing around with hairstyles for tonight, and decided this morning while you were still asleep he would slip out in search for something nice for you; of course, leaving a note for you stating he'd be back just in case you woke up before he returned without giving away what he was up to.
Finally after walking around the nearby city he stumbled upon one such store, and with a widening, chipper smile he opened the door and walked inside; the sound of a little bell on the door notifying the jeweler of a customers arrival.
"Hi there! What can I-... help you with...?" the voice of a small, blue-ish aquatic looking demon asked as he was looking down polishing a ring before he looked up; and his heart sank as he looked up and saw the radio demon in his shop. The feeble old demon visibly looked panicked and stood up from where he was seated, never taking his eyes off the tall stag.
"Good morning, sir! Just having a look around, I'm looking for a present for someone very dear to me." Alastor said with his typical, upbeat demeanor. He could practically smell the fear radiating off of the man, which he chuckled at with amusement as he meandered over to some of the display cases.
"A-any specific style you're after?" The man asked, swallowing hard as he nervously twiddled his thumbs.
Alastor continued to slowly browse and answered without looking up at him. "I'm looking for a necklace. Something that's nice, unique, and elegant; without being so gaudy and tacky that it would hardly be worn outside of special occasions."
The man looked off as he thought, there was a selection of necklaces that strayed from the usual favorable designs. A bit more pricey due to the unique appearances along with being made from real, valuable metals and the like. He slowly walked over to the end of a wall of cases and pointed at them through the glass, clearing his throat before he spoke. "We h-have some over here, that may be worth looking at... they're not what you'd usually expect to see at a shop like this but some of them are nice in their simplicity or unusual design."
Alastor perked up and walked over to the side where the jeweler was standing and examined the contents behind the glass. One caught his eye in particular.
