"So... yeah. I think he might be a little peeved." You stated as Alastor escorted you out of the limo; your hand in his. He had remained quiet and listened attentively while you embellished in your story. He couldn't deny that he understood your angered emotions at the current situation. However he took some delight in hearing that you got revenge; and should he ever cross paths with him he wouldn't hesitate to mimic your violent performance with his own acts of cruelty.

"I hope you don't mind me saying so, and perhaps my point of view is bias, but I think you handled the situation perfectly fine." He said looking down at you as he led you inside the bar, crossing the threshold of the doorway as you made your way to sit down at the bar counter. Upbeat jazz and swing welcomed you as you entered, denizens parting to make way for the pair of you as you sat down. You closed your eyes in frustration and exhaustion as you rubbed your temples.

"Courvoisier, neat." You heard Alastor say, presumably talking to a bartender that had come by.

"And you?" A voice said.

"Whiskey sour." You said without looking up. "Make it a double."

You felt Al gently take one of your hands and bring it to his lips, kissing your knuckles softly before bringing it back down. "I don't blame you." He said.

You opened your eyes and looked back at him, slightly confused.

He sighed softly. "I don't blame you, not for how you handled it, not for how you felt, and not for however you may be feeling right now. I can't imagine what must be reeling in your mind, darling. But I'm here for you."

You smiled softly at the buck beside you. "Thank you... I don't regret what I did to him, hell, I'd do it again. I think I'm just annoyed. I just want him gone. I know I can't get him out of my head, but just when I thought he was out of my life he comes back like a fucking poltergeist in my afterlife. I'd just as soon use him as a shield from an exterminator angel at this point."

Alastor chuckled softly at your suggestion and smiled at you sympathetically. "I understand. Not to fret darling! We just have to find him first, then, you and I can make an example out of him to other loathsome sinners who think they're bold." His grin grew sadistic and static littered his voice more than usual toward the end of his sentence. You couldn't help but match his evil smile with one of your own. On one hand, yes, this was irritating to be hunted down like this by someone you hated with every ounce of your being; and, if you were being honest, a bit scary just because of the trauma. However, having a chance to make him relive all the pain did sound enticing; and with the man you loved and adored by your side to help you made it all the more appealing.

"Sounds good to me." You giggled, before your drinks slid down the bar counter in your direction somehow without spilling, and stopped right in front of you. You wrapped your fingers along the cold glass and saw Alastor raised his to you. You raised yours- along with a curious brow at him, and waited for him to speak before taking a drink.

"May we get what we want, not what we deserve;
And may we love hard like we've never been hurt."

Your grin widened as your glasses clinked and you both threw back a hefty gulp of your liquors.
