Alastor finished work early that day. You got to enjoy dinner with everyone, for the last time until who knows when.
It was bittersweet for you. You knew this wasn't a permanent residency at the hotel and also that'd you'd see everyone again, but goodbyes were never something you were good at. You bonded with these people and you were going to miss them. You were definitely going to make a note of it to tag along with Alastor when he came to work every now and then just to see everybody. You were going to miss them, and they were going to miss you too.
Not long after you'd found yourself at Alastor's once again, your new home. The sound of that made you happy. Deciding to continue co-sleeping in his room, he still gave one of his spare rooms for you to use entirely for yourself. For quiet days to yourself, for when you needed alone time, you had your own personal space. It was a nice gesture on his part really, he'd even gifted you a drawing table and thousands of dollars in quality art supplies.
He'd shown you around the house; something neither of you got around to last night or earlier that morning, and it was quite expansive. It was more of a manor than a house. He lived off somewhere in the woods as well, he said somewhere in between your territory and where the hotel was. Which was fine with you, you missed the privacy and solitude of the dead forest.
In the interior of the home there first was a large open foyer with a long hallway that led to a large kitchen, and two staircase on either side of the entrance of the hallway. There was even a library! An entertainment room which was essentially a bar and music room full of instruments and various records, and of course his office and his bedroom.
After you had put your things away and gotten yourself organized he made one thing clear. 'You're home now, sweetheart.'
It was late now, you were exhausted. You lay in Alastor's bed staring up at the ceiling as he was undressing out of his suit.
"Angel came by to see me earlier." You said, breaking the comfortable silence.
"Did he now?"
You nodded, giving him some room on the bed as he came over to lay down with you. "He sympathizes about the Val thing. He's not happy about it either."
"I wouldn't have expected that from him." He said, taking your hand in his and kissing your knuckles. "Darling, how well did you get along with Lucifer when you met him?"
You furrowed a brow at the randomness of his question. "Not bad I suppose... I mean we weren't best buds, but, he was a fan of my handiwork. He was quick to dub me an overlord when I told him about my story and power. He was very courteous and accommodating if I had questions or needed something. Why do you ask?"
"We may have to inform him about our situation with Val and company; as well as your little stalker." He answered, resting his chin on his hand as he laid on his side facing you. "I've pondered it a little but today I actually talked to Charlie about it and she thinks it may be useful as well. If you are as valuable to him as he says, he could see to it that they are deterred from trying to bother you. Worst case scenario something happens and he already has been notified, he could step in and aid better than just I and other overlords could."
You nodded. "Can't argue with that." You turned to face him and looked into his eyes. "Just please tell me I'm not gonna be held hostage in your house until this has been dealt with, and sit on the shelf like I'm some doll if it means my well-being."
His smiled and he kissed your forehead, making you sigh softly with a small sense of ease. "Of course not. I promise you won't be cooped up here like you're captive, we'll still go out and enjoy ourselves and of course you're still permitted to a social life. But, I do hope you understand why I insist on being with you if you do choose to leave the house."
