Alastor hunted the hotel halls and ballroom in search for Angel Dust. Dozens of faces, none of them the one he was looking for. His patience wearing thinner and thinner with each moment that he couldn't find him. On the outside, he appeared calm and cool; the occasional twitch in his eye and smile, but nothing you'd look twice at. However on the inside he was rattled. Perhaps, if he dare admit it, a little fearful of the fact that he had no idea what happened to you since they left. That uncertainty and ambiguity was stressing him out, adding to the storm of anger he felt brewing in the core of his being.

Finally, about to assume that Angel had just left with one of the guests, he finally spotted him on his way to his room.

"Hey smiles! Almost didn't recognize you without
Y/n by your side." Angel snickered to himself, not sensing the agitation coming off of the other demon.

"Angel, I can't believe I'm uttering these words, but I need your help." Alastor said, quickly approaching the arachnid.

"Listen, pal, I'm flattered but I'm off duty and ya girl wouldn't appreciate me servicing ya." He said rolling his eyes and trying to put the key in his door. Alastor turned him back around to face him, concern and slight desperation glinting in his eyes.

"Dammit Angel, I do not mean sexual favors!" He seethed, clenching his jaw with an impossibly tight smile. "Your boss has taken Y/n. I need to know where she could possibly be. And I need to know now."

Angel Dust's expression dropped and contorted into a look of mortification and worry. "... What to you mean he took her...?"

"He drugged her, and he kidnapping her, Angel. You're his favorite star, if there's anyone who knows where she may have been taken by him it's likely you... Are there any spots around he frequently visits? May have taken you, or even talked about?" Alastor pried, his voice inadvertently cracking slightly. "Anything??"

Angel stammered for a moment trying to get a grasp on the situation and now fearing for you as well. He knew his boss, and he was as charming as he was cruel. He had not one empathetic bone in his body, and neither did his friends, mercy probably wasn't even in Valentino's vocabulary; and the thought of you in the moth's possession was enough to make him feel sick to his stomach.

"Shit, Al, I... erh, I can think of a couple places, but... I can't promise ya she'll be there." He offered, his voice wavering with uncertainty.

"We'll take any suggestion you've got." Al huffed with a sliver of relief. "You and one other... Angel, have there been any new employees back at the studio recently?" He asked, leading Angel back down to the lobby where the others were. Angel looked confused for a moment and then shook his head.

"None that come to mind, why?"

"There's a woman down there who claims she was supposed to be helping Y/n's captors but then backed out at the last moment. I want to see what she knows too, however, I'm unsure as to if I can even trust her or not seeing as she lied before already."

Angel shrugged. "Might be a good idea to interrogate her anyway. Val's suave, he puts on a good facade. I'm sure he played her like a fuckin' fiddle." He looked over at the stag as they walked at a fast pace down to the hotel lobby, observing the uncertainty and agitation that haunted his expression. "You... You really care about her, don't ya?"

Alastor looked over at Angel somewhat annoyed at such a ridiculous seeming question, then refocused his gaze to the hallways in front of him.

"Sorry..." Angel continued, "I just... We never thought you'd... You didn't seem like the type of person to catch feelings for someone else."
