Ekko x blind reader

Ekko' POV
   I walked into Y/n's workshop, the door squeaking loudly as I moved to close it. "Hey!" I called out to them. They were wearing headphones and the music was blaring so loud that I could hear it through them. When they didn't move I assumed they didn't hear me soI walked up behind them and carefully took them off and leaned down to whisper in their ear "Guess who."

   Immediately they spun around "Ekko! You came to visit me!" They exclaimed looking a little past my shoulder.

   "Yeah Scar told me you haven't left your shop in five days," I said "and that means you aren't sleeping, eating or drinking enough water." I crossed my arms as I continued to scold them.
   "Not true. Yesterday I slept for like... thirty minutes." They argue as if that helped their case at all.

    "Well adly for you that's not enough for me, now come outside with me." I said, grabbing their hand. They sighed dramatically but got up and followed me outside. I set my hoverboard to activate it. "Step on my board we're going to the top of the tree." I instructed as I helped them step on letting them use my hand and shoulder to help them balance until they found it, then I stepped on.

   "Ekko can you wrap your arms around my waist?" They asked, tilting their head in my direction.

   "Uh what why?" I stuttered out.
"I want to spread my arms so I can feel the wind but I'm scared I'll fall." They explained now pouting at me.

   "Alright, fine." I said, sighing as they pumped their arms up in victory, wrapping my arms around their waist pulling them close to me so they wouldn't fall. "Okay we're taking off'' I warned them as we pushed off the ground. When we had gotten in the air they put their arms out moving their fingers so they could feel the wind move through them.

   It was only a few moments but I was determined to savor the feeling of holding them before we reached the top. We landed on a small platform just above the top of the tree. I helped them down and started leading them to the little picnic I set up for us. "Is that food I smell?" They asked.

   "Yes it would be I set up a little picnic for us," I told them "We can sit here." I said crouching down and they followed. While they got comfortable I grabbed some sandwiches I layed out. " 'S a sandwich, your favorite." I told them as I pressed it into their hand.

   They immediately took a bite. "Mhm Ekko these are really good, when did you find the time to do this?"

   "Well not all of us spend all our time in their workshops." I teased.

   "Yeah well I know that, but you're the leader of the firelights you're always telling me how busy you are." They said their tone was much softer than mine was.
   "You're really important to me, I wanted to make time for you..." My face felt warmer as soon as the words left my mouth. "I mean like you're important to me because your my friend and-"

   "Ekko!" They interrupted my rambling. "I like you, I have for a long time and I was trying to find the right time, but I don't think there will ever come so do you like me too?' They asked.

   I nodded rapidly before remembering they couldn't see it. "Yes I do." I confessed trying to make my voice sound calm.

   "That's good." They said now with a big smile on their face.

   "Why is that?" I questioned.
"Cause I wanted to ask you something else."

   "And what would that be?" Hoping that they would ask what I really wanted to do right now.

   "Can I kiss you?"

   I smiled so wide it probably looked like my face was about to split in two. "I would love that." I told them leaning closer I gently cupped their face in my hands and kissed them. Their lips were so soft I knew that kissing them would become my new addiction.
   When we pulled away they yawned loudly making both of us bursted into laughter. "I think it's time for someone to go to sleep. You want me to take you to your room?"

   "No, I want to stay up here with you. Can we just take a nap up here?"They whined.
   "Okay only because I love you.' I said before laying down and pulling them to me.

   They nuzzled into my neck "Thanks for doing this for me Ekko."

   "Anytime baby.' I kissed their forehead before closing my eyes and falling asleep next to them, I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome of our little picnic.
