Mom Caitlyn x child reader (Family au)

A/n sorry this took forever
tw: abuse manipulation (probably bad description of abuse)

I sat trembling in my chair. I know I wasn't supposed to go outside but I couldn't help it , it looked so nice and I only went in the garden. My parents stepped into the room immediately screaming "What were you doing!"

"What if you were seen!"

"We take care of you and thi is how you repay us!"tears started to build up in my eyes. I looked away hoping they would stop yelling soon.
SMACK

MY head whipped to the side so fast I thought my head might break. "Pay attention when we're talking to you!" My father yelled at me, my mother pacing behind him shaking her head. She stopped her pacing "We are just trying to protect you, why do you not understand that!"
"I'm sorry..."

"You should be!" my father said, waving a finger in my face. I just nodded along it always went faster when I agreed with them" My father straightened out his suit and pointed to the door "Go to your room." I got up from the uncomfortable chair and walked to my 'room'. Which was actually the basement kind of funny. We had a big fancy house but I couldn't have a room. Oh well... I walked down the stairs into the basement and curled into a ball in the corner

Caitlyn's POV
I was sitting in my office when one of the newer enforcers came in."Um Sherif Caitlyn..."
"Yes?" I said pausing my work to look up at her "There have been a few reports of loud noises and screams. The people who reported it are really worried about it; they want you to check it out."
"Alright you, James, Magy and Kat be ready in 5"

"Understood" she lowered her head a little and left. This better turn out to be something I don't want to get behind don't my paperwork.

Mini Time Skip

We are now at the house we heard the complaints about. I stopped forward and knocked on the door a few moments later it opened "Hi are you Mrs. l/n?"
"Yes this is the l/n residence, is something wrong?"

"No nothing really, we had few reports of unexplained noises and we just need to ask you and your husband a few questions." She stepped back motioning for us to come in "Yes of course that's fine come in I'll go fetch my husband." A few moments later we were seated on overstuffed couches and seats. Magy had her notepad out ready to write. "So do either of you know what could be causing these noises?" They both shook their heads "No we have a very quiet house."
"What kinds of noises do they say they are hearing?" I look down at the reports "They said there have been a few days where they hear screaming, banging and some of the screams sounds like a child." They looked at each other,intertwining their hands resting them on Mr l/n's knee "No we wouldn't know anything about that."

Something about these two seemed off "Lovely so you wouldn't mind if we conducted a search would you. You know regulations and such."
"No, of course not." Mrs. l/n said her husband sent her a look but I couldn't quite tell what it ment. "Great, we'll do it as quickly as possible and be out of your hair." They nod as I turn to my team and tell them were to go. James, Magy and the newbie would be together and Kat would be with me on the first floor.

We looked around to see what we could find, so far there was nothing suspicious. When I finished looking in my area I heard Kat call "Hey I found the bassment if you wanna come and check it out!" I quickly walked over to her arriving at the same time the l/ns did. I was about to open the door when Mrs. l/n shrieked "You can't go in there!" I turned to her one eyebrow raised "And why not?" Mr. l/n stepped forward "Well um you see we are having some stuff in the house redone so it isn't safe..." Kat gave him an unconvinced eye roll "We are happy to know you are worried about our safety sir but we can handle ourselves."
