Y/n's POV I was walking through the Lanes, not going in any particular direction. I just needed to get out of my crappy apartment. Viktor had told me a million times that he could get me a nice apartment in Piltover but the Lanes were my home. I couldn't leave it.
During my walk I had decided I would do a little window shopping maybe even get something. "Hey sweetheart!" I heard someone yell from behind me assuming it wasn't for me I kept walking. "Hey I was talking to you!" A man grabbed my wrist making me turn around. I quickly pulled my hand out of his. "I'm sorry, do you need something?" I asked, venom dripping from my voice. "Yeah I wanna show you a good time." He said rubbing his grubby hands together with his friends cackling behind him.
"Not interested man, I have a boyfriend." I told him turning around to walk away. "Hey, he don't have to know." I kept walking "Hey I'm talking to you bitch!" I heard him speed up behind me. He grabbed my wrist and swiveled me around. "Let go of me asshole!" I tried to pull away but his gripp was too tight. "I was tryn' to be nice but I think you might need to be taught a lesson." His friends nodded in agreement.
"I said let me go!" I shouted. His friends stepped forward but before they could do anything I kneed him in the groin making him let me go. I started running to the person who made me feel safest, Viktor.
Viktor's POV I was hunched over one of my lab tables when I heard the door creak open. I assumed it was Jayce so I didn't bother looking up. "Viktor I heard a quiet voice whisper. I perked up realizing who it was "Yes my dearest?" My head whipped up when I heard a quiet whimper "My love?" Their face was buried in their hands. I quickly stood up and walked over to them wrapping an arm around them. "What happened?" They didn't say anything, they just buried their face in my neck. "It's okay, you're okay." I whispered, kissing the crow of their head.
"Come on, let's go to my room." I said as I gently led them out of the lab and into my room. I opened the door to my dorm and led them to my bed, setting my cane against the night stane. They laid down and I gently pulled their shoes off. We both crawled in bed and I cradled them against my chest. "Would you like to talk about it my love?" I felt them nod I waited a few moments before they spoke "I was walking and these three guys came up to me and one of them tried to hit on me but I told him I had a boyfriend, I tried to walk away but he grabbed me but I kneed him in the dick then I just ran...."
I held them tighter. "I'm so sorry my darling you didn't deserve that but I'm glad he got what he deserved." That made them chuckle "Mhm I was just so scared." "I know.I know how about we just stay here for the day I'll take off?" They simply nodded and nuzzled their way deeper into my neck. I found myself wishing I could protect them from all the hurt in the world but I couldn't so I just held them tighter hoping to bring them comfort. ______________________ Sorry if it's kinda short Word count:604
