There are rumors that Sara has been locking Ash in the basement when her so-called friends came over. If they saw Ash, they would kill her in an instant. This is no life for Ash and that is why I am taking Ash away from this place.

Ash sat in the bed crying for a moment while Matt hugged her tightly like he was never going to let her go. She quickly stopped crying as she sat in silence as Matt picked her up. He took Ash outside a small carriage that sat outside. He then proceeded to walk back into the cabin and stopped a few inches in front Sara.

There was a long moment of silence until Matt broke the silence and asked “You know what I have to do to keep Ash safe from them right?”

Sara said  with a slight smile and a hint of anger, “I understand and I also know that you are a dog. You will always be a dog even though your master has been dead for two years. Oh, that's right, I killed your master with the same curse that he put on me and I sped it up.”

Matt reached into his left coat pocket and pulled out a small, serrated, black knife and stabbed Sara in the head. Reddish balck blood quickly poured out of her wound that was on the right side of her head.

Sara said while choking out blood in anger as she breathed heavily with her dying breath, “D-diary.”

She then closed her eyes and drew her last breath, Sara quickly died instantly. Matt put two fingers on Saras neck to make sure she was dead and then he walked over to the small desk in the corner of the living room wall. A small colored lamp sat on the desk, filling the room with light as he searched through the desk for something. After searching for a few minutes he found a medium sized, leather book curved in dragon scales and what looked to be twelve different types of animal skins on the cover of the book. There was a spiral lock on the side of the book with what looked to be a hole for a small key. Matt thought to himself, it looks like… only a skeleton key could fit in this kind of lock. He looked closer and quickly noticed that there was a spell on the lock but he didn’t recognise what kind of spell it was though. Matt quickly grabbed the book and ran outside to the caridg, the rain stopped pouring down to the ground. Ash was sitting in the passenger's side of the carriage silently in the front seat. Matt quickly hopped into the driver's side of the carriage and grabbed the leather ropes that connected to the dutch coolers on the two horses, he quickly drove away in an instant.
