It has been two days and we are out of time, by midnight tonight Ash is going to lose control, her mother will take over Ash’s body. Sam said that he found out that there are two ways that we can save Ash but both of them are risky. I don’t know what the risks are yet but we are having a group meeting and that is when Electro will tell us the risks. Everyone will say their ideas on how we are going to save Ash, I wrote a goodbye letter for Ash just in case.

Jaff slowly woke up to the sound of birds chirping around the cabin and by the sound of it, there were a dozen birds surrounding the cabin. For a moment he did not move but after a few moments, Jaff slowly opened his eyes to see Ash on her side as she faced him with her eyes closed. Jaff suddenly noticed that he slept on Ash’s bed by accident, his head was lying on the bed for a moment as his body started to slowly wake up from exhaustion. He quickly sat up from the bed and quickly popped his neck from side to side for relief from the stiffness that filled his neck. Suddenly, Electro came into the room and was surprised to see that Jaff was awake.

Electro asked, “How is she?”

Jaff replied “She hasn’t woken up since the day we did the spell on her and failed.”

“I see, did you get any sleep?” Electro asked with concern.

Jaff replied, “I got some sleep, what is going to happen to Ash?”

Electro said “There is going to be a meeting today and we have a few minutes to get to the meeting. Jaff they are waiting for us.”

Jaff looked at Ash and said “You should go without me, I am staying with Ash.”

“Look, I know you are worried about Ash but it would be better if you came and to hear everyone's ideas.” Electro said.

Jaff sighed as he said “Alright, fine.”

He quickly got up off of the bed and followed Electro outside to Fire Hill. Jaff was surprised to see that all the people that Ash knew were on one side of the field and all the people that he knew were on the other side of the field. They stood silently as they waited for Sam to speak. Jaff quickly noticed that there was a small podium and everyone was facing as they waited silently.

“Is the podium ready?” Jaff asked.

Electro smirked as he replied, “It was Sam's idea, I don’t know why but he did it.”

“Alright.” Jaff said as he passed through the crowd of friends and family to the crowd.

Once he reached the front of the crowd silently, he stood patiently for Sam to arrive and speak.

As Sam was starting to get close to the podium and said in an unknown language, “Flame on.”

Suddenly, flames came out of Sam's right hand as he held his hand out and his fingers were so strate that you wouldn’t think they were fingers at all. Jaff was surprised when Sam used the flames and caught the podium on fire as soon as the flames touched the wood. The flames singed Sam for a moment and slowly started to die down, Jaff then curled his left hand into a fist and the flames immediately disappeared in  an instant.

Sam asked with a slight smile, “Really Jaff?”

Jaff sighed as he shook his head from side to side in disappointment as he said, “We are on the clock.”

“Gease, alright. I get it.” Sam replied in disappointment and continued, “Alright, who is going first?”

Electro quickly walked up to Sam and said “I’ll go first.”

Sam immediately stepped to the side for Electro to have the spotlight. Embarrassment filled Electro as people watched him in silence as they waited for him to speak his mind.

After a few seconds he said, “Hello everyone, thank you for coming. Here is my idea, we could try doing a reborn spell on Sara, Ash’s mother. She would be asleep and locked away while Ash is in control. Sara could have a life of her own and not go through whatever she went through that made her this way.”

One of Ash’s friends said immediately, “That could work but only if someone is with her twenty four seven and knows the spell to keep Sara at bay.”

Five hours later, Sam took the spotlight with two ideas in his head as he waited for the crowd to calm down.

Once everyone was silent Sam said, “Alright, I will just say my ideas and see what you think. We could do the same spell we did last time but there would have to be a sacrifice this time and that is my first idea.”

Electro said in anger, “No way! We are not sacrificing anyone no matter what.”

Lin quickly asked, “Wait Electro, instead of a human couldn’t it be an animal?”

Sam sighed as he replied, “I am afraid not Lin. If we sacrificed an animal then the same thing as last time would happen and it would last three days again.”

Jaff asked, “You used an animal during the spell before we did the spell didn’t you?”

Sam replied, “I did use an animal for a sacrifice during the spell.”

A disappointed look came across everyone's face as they thought about what to say to Sam. In the end no one said a word at all, they just waited for Sam to say something.

Sam slowly said, “I didn’t say anything because I knew that I would get this kind of reaction and that is why I asked Artemis if I could do it, she agreed to it.”

Electro sighed as he said, “It's fine Sam, If Artemis said you could sacrifice one of the animals of natcher then I guess it's alright.”

Rin said, “I think we all agree when I say we will never sacrifice any humans or animals.”

In an instant everyone said simultaneously, “Agreed.”

Sam sighed as he said, “Alright, my next idea is to do a separating  spell.”

Jaff asked in confusion, “A separating spell? What is that?”

Sam replied, “A separating spell is a type of spell that can separate two soles that are inhabiting the same body. Depending on how we do the spell, we can make Sara a spirit or we can give her a new body.”

Death asked “If we did the spell that gives Sara a new body, what would we have to do?”

Jaff replied, “We would have to provide Sara a vessel that has already died and do a celebration.”

Jaff slowly asked, “What's the catch?”

Sam looked at Jaff with a surprised look and said in a defeated voice, “One of us will have to give our souls up to transfer Sara into the vessel. I will give up my soul to transfer her mother into the dead vessel.”

There was silence for the longest moment before everyone except for Jaff said simultaneously, “We should go on ahead and do the second choice.”

Jaff instantly said “I disagree.”

Suddenly, everyone turned to face Jaff and for a moment he regretted saying anything but he kept a straight face as he stood silently while trying to collect his thoughts.

Elector asked “Why do you think that?”

Jaff sighed as he said “The second plan is just as bad as the first plan if not more.”

Suddenly, people whispered to each other franticle as Electro asked “You make a good point but what would you suggest?”

Jaff instantly replied, “Neither of those choices for one. We can figure something else that will not require a sacrifice.”

Sam sighed as he said “Alright, alright. How about this Jaff, I will do the spell without a sacrifice and Ash will be asleep for three more days. That is how long you have to figure out a way to save Ash without using a sacrifice.”

Electro said in surprise “Wait, what?”

Jaff sighed as he said “Fine but I have to watch you when we do the spell.”

“You have a dealo.” Sam said as he smiled.
