Dragon's curse

chapter eighty three

I had a bad dream last night, one that I wish that I could forget but I can’t. I was running away from Jaff in a large field of  grass and flowers. There was a man floating in the air like there was no gravity and as if it was relevant to him at all, he told me to kill Jaff. I turned around and said yes sir to him as if I was working for him, the next thing I know I am awake with a cold sweat. I have a bad feeling about this dream and I hope that will never happen.

 Ash slowly woke up to the feeling of a throbbing pain in her head as she quickly sat up from laying in bed. She slowly thought to herself, Where am I? Ash slowly got up from the bed that she sat on  silently and noticed that there was a set of clothes sitting on a wooden chair that sat against one of the walls. In an instant, Ash noticed that the clothes that she was wearing were completely burnt to a crisp as if her body got so hot that her clothes started to burn. Ash slowly looked around the room and quickly picked up the clothes that sat on the wooden chair. She quickly got dressed as quickly as she could while watching the door intensely to make sure no one came into the room. After a few minutes of straightening the sky blue dress with white spots  that she put on and slowly fixed her hair up to the point that her hair didn’t look so ragged like a wild animal. Ash smiled as he left the room while shutting the door behind her and silently walked through the narrow hallway. As Ash got close to the living room, she noticed that there were some voices that came from the living room, they spoke in a low whispered voice. She slowly crept closer and closer until she was in range to hear their conversation, Ash slowly poked her head around the corner as if to not be noticed and saw Jaff sitting on the couch while Electro was leaning against the wall that sat behind Jaff.

Jaff asked with concern “I heard that you got a letter from someone, is it true that he is threatening to take control of Ash? What does the full letter say Jaff?”

A concerned look came across Ash’s face as she stayed still and silent while listening to them to each other.

Electro replied, “The letter is right here.” He slowly pulled out two sheets of paper from one of his pockets  and handed it over to Jaff in an instant and continued, “I think this guy may be a god Jaff and there is no way we or creacher can kill a god, let alone an ingger god.”

Jaff slowly unfolded the two pieces of paper with shaky hands, he quickly coughed in pain as he dropped the paper instantly to cover his mouth. The paper instantly fell to the ground as Eletro walked over to Jaff and handed him a clean handkerchief. Jaff quickly took the handkerchief and quickly coughed into it, blood splattered onto the handkerchief as he coughed in pain. After a few minutes, Jaff stopped coughing and handed the handkerchief back to Electro with shaky hands. 

Electro quickly said in concern “Let's take you to my room, you can stay there until we can figure this out.”

He helped Jaff up off of the couch and brought him to his room in an instant while being careful to not let Jaff fall over onto the ground. Jaff gripped onto Electro with one arm around his shoulder and as soon as they left the living room, Ash went into the living room to grab the two pages that sat on the ground where Jaff dropped them. Once she had the two sheets of paper in her hands, she quickly ran back into the room that she was staying in and shut the door behind her. Ash slowly sat on the bed and quickly started reading the letter out loud in a low whispered voice.

I assume this is Jaff or Electro that is reading this, I put  outer on this letter that will kill half breeds slowly. If you want to be cured of this virus that you breathed in then you will bring Ash to me. Either way I will have her though and you will die if you don't get the antidote in two weeks. When you start coughing up blood then you will only have reached the first stage and that is just the start of your problems. The symptoms will get worse by the hour, I will see you in three days and I can only assume you are reading this Ash. I can only assume that you don’t even know who I am let alone Jaff but I don’t care about him. I care about you Ash, I only want you and your mother. She will not stop me from taking you this time and I will have you with or without force. I can save your friend if you want, you just have to come with me and bring him with you so I can give him the antidote. You have until Jaff is so sick that he can’t even move anymore to make your decision. You can meet at the far east at the bottom of the mountain where the sun falls to the ground and the summoning of gods are summoned. I will have you no matter what, I have my ways of getting you Ash and I will use them if I have to. Sincerely Thanatos.

Ash instantly dropped the note instantly in shock as she thought to herself, What am I going to do now? Tears streamed down her face as she thought about what might happen to Jaff. She sighed as she listened carefully as she heard Electro walk out of his bedroom while shutting the door behind them and quickly walked out of the cabin.

Ash quickly said to herself in a slight reassuring voice, “Alright Ash, you can do this. You can figure this out.”
