Dragon's curse

Chapter twenty four

Me and Jeff were kidnaped by what I assume is the same hunter from the other day. I will save Jeff but I need to be careful because I don't want to transform into a dragon while we are in what looks to be a basement with Jeff in it. I will end up killing him with my wait when I start to grow in size.

Ash clenched the meat cleaver tightly as she readied herself to attack the man when he walked by the doorway. Her hand shivered as waited silently for the sounds of footsteps to grow louder.

“Aww, you went and passed out on me, they call me the expert on torturing people and monsters till they drop. Although you aren't human are you but I mean, who am I even talking to? You are knocked out after all and I need someone to give me more entertainment. All well, Ash will have to do, she is a monster like you isn't she and maybe she will give me the fun that I deserve. I might even have my way with her.” the man said as he started to clean his hand off with a cloth that he pulled from one of his pockets. Once his hands were cleaned up, he walked out the doorway, Ash screamed as she hit him in the back of the head with the handle of the knife. 

The man looked at Ash and said “Bad move.”

He quickly lunged at Ash but immediately, she punched him in the face and instantly he fell to the ground, passed out. 

Ash then said “I am not a monster, I am cursed and my skin is much harder than a normal human skin you bastard so sleep tight.”

Immediately, Ash ran over to Jeff and got started on unlocking the lock that held the chains onto his ancholes. Once the lock clicked, she took the chains and tied the man up like a prisoner and lacked the chain with the double-tumbler lock. She bound his hand and feet together and once she was finished, Ash came back over to Jeff to see how bad his injuries were. She slowly examined his face to see that he had two black eyes, his lip, upper eyebrows were busted and he also had a dislocated jaw. Ash slowly placed her hand onto his jaw and he moaned in pain as she slowly repositioned  his jaw back into place. She then moved down to his shoulder to see that there were long, deep cuts in his arms, she counted at least five cuts on each arm. Ash then went down to his ribs to see that he had at least six broken ribs and three bruised ribs, his spleen was bruised to the point that it showed through his skin.  She slowly ran her hand through his ribs as Jeff breathed heavily in pain, he moaned in pain as Ash lightly ran over the bruises. Ash quickly walked out of the room and up the stairs that entered into a small dining area, she quickly walked out of the house to see that they were in a cottage surrounded by woods. There was a small barn that sat by the tree line of the woods, Ash quickly ran over to the front doors of the barn. The smell of manure filled her nose as she got closer and the sounds of horses filled Ash’s ears once she was only inches from the doors. She quickly opened one of the doors to the barn and went inside in an instant. Ash saw that there were three horses ready for the road, she quickly grabbed the three horses and brought them outside. She tied them to one of the wooden panels that held the roof up while keeping it from collapsing. Once the horses were sicure, Ash went back into the basement to grabbed the man that tortured Jeff, she then brought him outside and placed him carefully on one of the black horse that were cuvered in white spots. Slowly, the man woke up from his slumber as Ash started tying him to the horse, his leg slightly stretched out in the air as he layed sideways on the horse. She then went back down stairs once more for Jeff, once she got to him, she noticed that he was whispering something repeatedly.

Ash put her ear up close to his mouth as he whispered “I…Don't think… I will make it out of here… with you.”

He then stopped talking as she moved away from him and said “I am not losing you Jeff, you are going to make it out of here but I cant lift you on my own. I need you to help me.”
