I have the strangest feeling that there is something wrong and that it has something to do with Jeff. God, maybe I should have walked him back to his town but I don't want to put him in more danger than I already have. I used a spell bird earlier that would track him for thirty five minutes, I hope he is alright. I wish things were different at this point, maybe we could but that is all in the past. We can only hope right? I am heading south right now and I hope I can see something new.

Ash half way out of town when she heard a twig snap and at that moment, she knew that she was being followed by another person. She quickly stopped walking and stood in the middle of a deserted road filled with silence. As soon as Ash stopped walking, the sounds of footsteps could be heard from behind her, she shivered slightly as the footsteps got closer and closer to her.

Ash asked in a slightly shaky voice, “Jeff?”

There was a reply, only the sound of breathing that brushed past her as she stood in fear of what might happen to her and the footsteps stopping from behind Ash. Suddenly, there was a loud thumping sound and a distinct pain in her neck as she fell to the ground, she quickly passed out in an instant. Three hours later, Ash slowly woke up on a cold, hard, paved floor. She quickly opened her eyes to see that she was in a dark room, Ash sat up from the ground as the back of her head throbbed in pain. Ash slowly looked around to see what was around her, she quickly noticed that it was too dark for her to see anything around her. There was a small window that let a little amount of moonlight that shone through that covered  a small portion of the room. Two hours later, her eyes started to adjust to the darkness that surrounded the room but not enough that she could see the whole room that surrounded her.

“Shit, it looks like I am going to have to use a spell to help me see better.” Ash said out loud as she put her hands together as if she were going to prey to one of the gods. She continued, “Heaven and earth, the five elements that surround natcher, guide the light into my eyes from the dragon's curse and release.”

Suddenly, there was a burning sensation in her eyes as she rubbed her eyes in pain and her eyes slowly turned into crocodile-like eyes. The sclera slowly changed from white color to a brownish black color, her pupil slowly went from a sicole into a thin diamond like shape that changed when looked at certain distances like a cat. Ash instantly noticed the difference between how her eyes were before she changed her eyes and after she used a spell to help her see things in the dark, she quickly could see the room perfectly as if it wasn’t even dark in the first place. She quickly looked at her scholes and saw that she was chained up, the chain was connected to the wall. The long thick chain reached two feet long and Ash leaned against the wall as she sat down while thinking about how she was going to escape. Suddenly there was the sound moaning as if someone was in pain and the suns of chains moving.

Ash quickly asked in a calm and low whispered voice, “Hello, is anyone there?”

“I…I can hear you but I…” said the voice before coughing in pain, he then continued, “I can't see anything, its pitch black.”

Ash quickly thought to herself, that voice sounds like Jeff's voice but he should be back in his home town by now.

Ash asked in a low, slightly whispered voice, “Jeff, is that you?”

Jeff replied in pain through tears, “Is me Ash…I am sorry I got caught.”

“It's ok Jeff, I am going to get us out of her but I need your help alright?” Asked Ash in a calm and reassuring voice.

Jeff seid “Alright.”

Ash slowly slid across the floor until she couldn’t slide across the floor any more. The chain stretched out as she reached the center of the empty room that she sat in.
