It has been two days since we came back from the gods temple and they have still not come up with a plan. If they still haven't come up with a plan then I am sneaking out to the gods temple and I will do whatever Thanatos wants as long as Jaff lives.

Two days later, Ash slowly tiptoed through the small hallway as the floorboards slightly cracked under pressure as she slowly stepped on the floorboards silently while trying to be quiet and not wake anyone up. Jaff and Electro slept silently in a deep slumber as if they were under a spell. Once she reached the front door, she quickly went out the door in an instant and quickly got onto a small black horse that looked like it was a young adult. As soon as she got onto her horse, Ash tapped the horse on its sides with her feet and in an instant, the horse took off into the woods. The horse sprinted through the woods as branches and vines snagged onto Ash as they passed through the woods. Suddenly, there was the sound of thunder as dark clouds formed over Ash’s head and in an instant rain poured down onto Ash as if the gods were mad at her. All the sounds were drowned out as the rain poured down on her as if there was a tsunami taking place above them as the horse started to slow down and the dirt quickly turned into mud.

Ash yelled as the thunder slightly drowned out her voice, “Heary, go faster… we must go faster.”

The horse grunted as it started to run faster through the woods and in an instant, the rain stung against their face as they got closer to the gods temple.

Ash instantly yelled, “Be careful, the weather seems to get worse as we get closer to the temple.”

For a moment Ash thought that she saw the hose make eye contact as if it were saying, I understand and don't worry. Three hours later, they reached the gods temple and Ash quickly got off of her horse's back instantly as the feeling of mud surrounded her bare feet as she walked over to the front steps that lead up to the shrine. Ash quickly wiped her feet onto what appeared to be a welcome mat as she slowly opened the front door and instantly went inside to see that she was in the hall of the offering with doors leading through different corridors. The red pillars with golden ribbons hanging down on the diedes like a small stream of water almost looked like they went for miles into the air as it reached up to the sealing and the wooden floors shined as she slowly walked through the hallway. Ash slowly noticed that there were five candles that were lit by each pillar and what appeared to be some bones laying next to the candles. Once she reached the end of the hallway, she reached another door and couldn’t help but be amazed at the sight of how many doors surrounded her.

A voice rang out in Ash’s head as he asked “So… Do you like my temple Ash?”

Ash instantly asked in surprise as she searched for where the voice was coming from, “Is that you Thanatos?”

There was a light chuckle as the voice replied slowly, “Yes, it is me Thanatos. Were you hoping for someone else?”

Ash said instantly, “I didn’t say that, I was just curious. So this is your temple.”

“Do you like it?” Thanatos as Ash walked through another door that led to what appeared to be a small dining room.

Ash smiled as she replied “It is beautiful and it looks really big. How many rooms are there in this place.

“Too many to count but now I have a question for you Ash.” Thanatos said with a hint of joy in his voice.

Ash sighed as she said “Alright, go on ahead and ask your question.”

Thanatos aked, “What would you do if I told you that I did a spell that temporarily made Jaff sick so I could have you come here alone?”

There was a long moment of silence before Ash replied, “I… to be honestly I would be dumn founded at this point but I wouldn’t be mad though.”

“You wouldn’t?” Thanatos asked in surprise.

Ash smiled as she replied while walking through another door, “Nope, I wouldn’t, what about you?”

“I would be a little mad but… I don’t know. I never thought about it.” Thanatos said in confusion.

Ash sighed as she asked “Ok, why did you actually want me to come here because I am pretty sure you didn’t bring me here to make conversation so what or who am I looking for?”

Thanatos sighed as he asked with curiosity, “Before I answer your question let me ask you this Ash, have you ever felt lonely?”

There was a long moment of silence as Ash thought about the question and replied, “Yes, there are some points in my life when I felt lonely but why do you ask?”

Thanatos quickly said, “It has been so long since I talked to someone, the last person I talked to was your mother. I didn’t know she had A child when I visited her but that is what happens when you visit a person every five years. I thought we didn’t keep secrets from each other but when I visited her, I found out that she had passed away from someone that killed her but they didn’t know who. You smell a lot like her did you know that, I like that about you Ash.”

Ash instantly said in anger, “I am not my mother and You hurt her a few times when you visited her but she said nothing to you about it. I think she cares about you but I don’t understand why that is.”

“I was planning on giving her the same curse you have but I was too late to save her from this world but I can save you Ash. I will save you from this world by bringing you into the abyss where I am living.” Thanatos quickly said with determination in his voice.

Suddenly, the floor disappeared from under Ash’s feet as if it was never there to begin with in the first place. Ash screamed in surprise and fear as she started to fall into the abyss, her life quickly flashed before her eyes in seconds. She thought about all the people that she met on the road, about all the people that she saved and the family that she made. Ash started to cry as all the faces of the people that she met flashed before her eyes and she quickly thought to herself, I should have never camer here. This was a mistake and I am paying for it, I can never see my friends again.
