It has been two days and I have made my decision, I am going to bring Jaff to Thanatos. I am not going to tell Jaff about what I am doing and I have to sneak him out of Fire Hill while not alerting Electro. I think I can shift into a dragon still, I hope so but I am not sure if the spell that was used has any side effects but we will see when the time comes.

Ash asked in confusion, “What did Nyx, the goddess of night do for your punishment.”

“I am no longer able to see any humans anymore and that means I am no longer able to go to your world any more. I have been here ever since that day and I hate being alone and that is why I will have you no matter what the cost is.” Thanatos said in anger and quickly yelled “Now come to me Ash!”

Ash quickly bolted up to an upright position. She woke up to the sound of knocking on her door three times and for a moment, she wondered who could be at the door as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.

Ash asked in confusion, “Who is it?”

“It's me, Electro.” He replied instantly.

Ash sighed as she said, “You can come in.”

Electro slowly opened the door and poked his head through the doorway with a smile on his face. He saw Ash sitting on her bed and Electro noticed that she looked like she was doing better.

Electro asked “Can I come in?”

Ash slowly nodded her head yes and watched as Electro slowly came into the room while shutting the door behind him. There was a long moment of silence as Ash started to feel uncomfortable as she waited for him to say something.

Electro sighed as he asked “let's just get right to it Ash, Do you have any plans on handing yourself over to the man that sent Jaff that letter?”

Ash replies slowly as she put on a fake confused look on her face, “Letter, I don’t know what you are talking about Electro.”

Electro said instantly, “ I am sorry Ash, I thought you took the letter that Jaff dropped onto the ground.”

Ash smiled as she said “Nope, I was in my room the whole day that day.”

“Alright.” Elector said as he walked out of the room while shutting the door behind him.

Ash slowly sighed as she got up from her bed and got ready for the day. Once she was fully clothed in dark blue dress, she quickly poked her head out through the doorway to see if Electro was waiting outside her door and was surprised to see that he wasn’t anywhere to be seen. Ash slowly stepped outside of her door while silently closing her door behind her and quickly walked over to the room that Jaff was staying in. After a few moments, she reached Jaffs door and slowly knocked on his door three times while waiting for a reply from Jaff.

Jaff coughed as he saked through the door, “Who is it?”

Ash quickly replied, “It's me, Ash. I know what is going on, Jaff. Can I come in?”

There was a long moment of silence before Jaff said “The door is unlocked, you can come in.”

Ash sighed in relief as she slowly opened the door and saw that Jaff was laying in bed with blankets covering him up to his chest and she instantly noticed that he was as pale as a ghost.

Ash smiled as she said “You look like you have had better days.”

Jaff chuckled as he asked “Why do you look so sad?”

“Do you think you can walk and at least ride a horse?” Ash quickly asked.

Jaff sighed as he replied, “That does not answer my question, Ash. No, I can’t walk on my own but if I had help then yes. I can walk and ride a horse.”

Ash instantly said with a smile, “Good. I want you to get ready to ride and walk tonight. I will come and get you when it is time. Oh… Don't tell Electro about any of this or about our conversation.”

Jaff said in confusion, “Alright, I won't tell him anything about what just happened.”

Eight hours later,  Ash slowly came into Jaffs room silently with what appeared to be a duffel bag and Jaff stared at Ash in confusion as he finished buttening the last button on his white shirt with a black coat that went down to his ancoles.

Jaff slowly asked, “What is with the duffle bag and you still haven't told me where we are going, where are we going?”

Ash sighed as she replied, “We are going to the gods temple behind the Setting Sun Mountains. It is going to take a while for us to get there.”

“Remind me why we are not telling Electro about this?” Jaff asked as he coughed slightly in pain.

Ash smiled as she said “You’ll see when we get there.”

Jaff sighed as he followed Ash out of the cabin to see that there was a horse and Wolf Fang standing in front of the cabin silently. Ash quickly helped Jaff onto Wolf Fang's back silently as the feeling of the grass tickled the side of his leg. Once Jaff was settled on Wolf Fang's back, Ash quickly got onto her horse silently as she realized that there was no moon light to be seen and it was so dark that they could hardly see anything.

Jaff asked, “How are we going to move through the woods when it is so dark that we can't even see our hands in front of us?”

Ash sighed as she lowly chanted in a low whisper, “Hemera, grant me this wish for light to guide out way to our destination until the sun rises up during the day and appear’s during the night.”

Suddenly, a bright light that almost looked like an orb appeared out of thin air in front of Ash as she looked over at Jaff with a smile on her face. A surprised look came across Jaffs face as he looked over at Jaff and smiled back at her silently.

Ash instantly said “Let's get going so we can get there on time.”

Jaff sighed as he slowly followed Ash through the dence, dark woods and the orb quickly followed Ash while staying in front of them in silence. Jaff watched with curiosity as the orb kept a steady pace in front of them as they continued walking through the woods as animals scampered away from them in fear.

Wolf Fang slowly whispered in a low voice so that Ash could not hear them, “Did she tell you anything like where we are going or anything like that?”

Jaff slowly replied back in a low whisper, “No, she said nothing to me, whatever her plan is she isn’t telling me whatever her plans are.”
