I think we can trust Shaw but I have a feeling that Flin doesn’t trust him at all. I don't think I can walk because of how bad my feet are. To be honest, my feet look really red and swollen as if I am having a bad reaction.
He then laid them out in between them evenly as if they were silverware. Flin watched intently as Shaw grabbed the silver knife from the ground, the intensity grew by the second as he watched him pace the sharp end of the blade onto his arm. The knife hovered only inches from his arm as he gathered the courage to cut his own arm for the first time. Shaw slowly placed the knife onto the skin of his arm, he put pressure into the knife and started to cut his arm, a disgusted feeling filled Flin as he watched without saying a word. He then pulled the knife away from his arm while a greenish substance dripped from his cut that he made on his arm.
Ash asked in a surprised voice, “It almost looks like some kind of blood, What is it?”
Flin replied “The creachers that are neither dark nor light have green blood. That is how people used to identify us from creatures of the dark and light but I will do the other tests to prove that I am not the enemy.”
He placed the knife back on the ground and grabbed the holy water. Shaw poured the holy water onto his cut and for a short second there was a stinging feeling after pouring the holy water touched his cut. Nothing happened as they waited to see what would happen, after a fesconds he put the holy water down onto the ground and reached for the religious item but stopped a few inches short from the religious item. Ash slowly picked the religious item up from the ground and handed it over to Shaw. Shaw took the item from Ash’s hands, there was nothing, not even a burning feeling in his hands as he waited for something to happen. Flin shook his head from side to side in disbelief as he watched the cut on Shaw's arm heal quickly until it was as if there was never a cut in the first place. Flins eyes widened in surprise and disbelief as he stood silently.
Ash asked in a confused voice, “So, we can't hunt him because he isn’t evil, right Flin?”
Flin shrugged his shoulders as he said, “I need to find a new line of work one day.”
Ash laughed with delight for a few moments as she walked over to her bag, she picked the bag up. Once Ash picked up her backpack from the ground, she went back over to Shaw and sat down on the ground once more. Flin watched as Ash started placing the three items back into her backpack and zipped it up in an instant.
Ash asked enthusiastically, “Maybe he can help us find the werewolf that we are looking for?”
Shaw looked at Ash’s feet and noticed that her feet looked slightly swollen and her skin was red as if she had a rug burn. Show thought to himself, how is she even walking on her feet considering how bad her feet look.
Shaw looked at Flin and said in a confused voice, “Werewolf? We caught one coming through here last night. Maybe he is the werewolf that you are looking for.”
Flin asked “Did he have a large scar going across his right eye going down his face? Kind of jagged like might have healed slightly, is that how the werewolf you caught looked like?”
“I am not sure but I can take you to go see him if you would like.” said Shaw with a kind smile on his face.
Shaw got up from the ground and looked at Ash’s feet once more with a concerned look on his face. Ash slowly tried to get up from the ground in pain, once she was half way up from the ground, she fell back down to the ground in pain.
Flin asked in a concerned voice, “Are you alright Ash?”
Ash replied “I don't think I can walk Flin, my feet really hurt.”
