Chapter fifty eight

I am surprised to see that the guardians are allowing us into the archives, for a moment I thought they would say no to us and I think they would have if Ash wasn’t involved. Last I heard, one of the guardians is friends with Ash. I think I heard a rumor that Ash saved him too.

The guardian with the black robe said “New door to the archives is open now.”

Suddenly, a door appeared by one of the walls and instantly opened up instantly. A young man quickly came out from the door and smiled with delight as he looked at them calmly.

The boy said calmly, “I will show you to the forbidden archives, filling and machine room as well for the names. Please, follow me.”

The man instantly went back through the door instantly with a smile of delight with a hint of mischief in his look.

Once he disappeared through the door, Electro whispered into Jaff’s ear, “Be careful Jaff, I think this door is the same as the previous door we came through. Just call it a hunch.”

Jaff nodded in understanding as he watched Electro go through the door instantly. Once Electro disappeared into the black mist that surrounded the doorway, Jaff closed his eyes and quickly cleared his head of any and all thoughts while thinking of nothing. Jaff quickly walked through the door instantly with a clear mind and keeping his eyes closed while Flin went back to the main entrance. He instantly exited through the exit of the gateway and opened his eyes to see Electro standing in front of him with a proud look on his face.

“Good work, now if we could open your eyes while keeping your mind clear then I think you could control that power of yours.” Electro said with a smile.

Jaff asked “Why… Why are you telling me this?”

Electro sighed as he said “You are Ash’s friend and so that makes you part of our family. Any one that is part of Ash’s little family I want to help with any problems they may have.”

A surprised look came across his face as he asked in surprise, “Family… A part of Ash’s family? So all the friends she makes are part of her family?”

Electro said with a smile, “Yep, at least that is how she sees it. When we get Ash back you should ask her about it, I am sure she would be happy to tell you about her reasons why she thinks that way.”

The man sighed as he said while walking down the hallway, “We better get going, I am on the clock right now and I want to get this over with.”

Ten minutes later, they reached the end of the hallway that showed a small door with a sign that sat above the door that read forbidden archives room.

Jaff asked in confusion, “What is a computer?”

The man smiled as he said as they stopped walking. “Oh, it is just a machine that we use to store files and data we collected. There are a total of eight servers that are built into the floor that hold all the information and we have two computers. Please head inside.”

The door slowly opened by itself, Jaff and Electro walked through the doorway instantly as soon the doors were wide open. They walked into a small room with what looked to be black colored walls and sealing with what looked to be painted stars on the sealings. In the middle of the room were two tables with a computer on each of the tabiles and two chairs sitting a few feet from the table. Jaff and Electro were surprised to see that there were two young girls that looked like they were only five years old that sat at the two computers, they didn’t even look at them as they walked up to them. Once Jaff and Electro were only a few inches from the two girls, they stopped walking silently.

The young man said through the doorway, “Cat, Mouse, these people have been granted permission to see the names, family and people that were rescued. You will be helping them and give them the location of where they live and their names.”

Cat asked as she continued working on  the computer, “What are their names?”

Jaff instantly replied, “My name is Jaff and this is Electro.”

Mouse said with a slight smirk, “I will take Electro.”

“Ok, I will take Jaff then,” said Cat in an annoyed voice, she looked over at Jaff and asked, “Would you like the data on our newest motil?”

Jaff asked in confusion, “Um… What is that?”

Cat instantly replied “It is a computerized watch that will hold all of the files that you requested and open up a teleport wormhole to whatever destination on the planet. The watch can only be activated by your voice or fingerprint if you want.” 

Jaff said calmly, “Mmmm, alright. I will take your newest motil.”

“Alright.” Cat said as she reached into one of the jors and pulled out a small watch from the jore in an instant. 

She quickly placed the watch on what looked like some type of charger that connected to the bottom of the watch. Jaff watched as she snapped the charger onto the bottom of the watch while lightly placing it onto the table and looking at the screen.

Cat smiled as she said “Just give me a second and I will download half of the data onto the watch and the other half will go on Electros watch.”

Jaff asked in confusion once more, “Why only half?”

Mouse instantly replied “If we did the whole data then the watches would explode.”

Jaff nodded his head in understanding as he observed the watch to see that the watch looked like it was glowing a light blue color on the bottom of the watch as if it were part of some cords that were interwoven with the metal and there was a small button on the side. Cat slowly reached behind her computer and pulled out a small cord that looked like it was connected with the computer, she quickly plugged the cord into a small socket on the side of the watch.

Mouse quickly did the same as Cat as she looked at her for a second with an unreadable look. 

The watch said in a female robotic voice, “Now downloading date. E.T.A. three minutes.

Once the download was complete, there was a beeping sound that came from both computers and watches for a few seconds but quickly stopped automatically.

Both watches said simultaneously, “Downloaded data complete, systems saving.” There was a beeping sound before the watches continued simultaneously, “Ready to eject cord in three… two… one… please remove cord now.”

Cat and Mouse instantly removed the cors from the watches that sat in front of them, they quickly removed the watch from the plugins. Cat held the watch out to Jaff while Mouse held her watch out to Electro. Jaff and Electro slowly took the watches from their hands, they quickly placed the watches on their wrist tightly. Electro placed his watch on his left wrist while Jaff placed his watch on his right risr, there was a slight clicking sound as they snapped the two ends of the leather clips together.

Both of the watches said simultaneously, “Tightening watch straps.”

Suddenly the straps tightened until they were snug tight on their wrists. 

Jaffs and Electrons watch said simultaneously, “Master found, only the master can open up the data in me and can also be voice activated or opened by fingerprint. If you understand please say what if you would like to do voice activation on fingerprint activation.”

Electro said “Voice activation.”

Jaff smiled as he said “Voice activation.”

Their watches said simultaneously in an instant, “Very well, Please say yes.”

Electro waited as Jaff said “Yes.”

Jaffs watch said “Voice verified, nice to see you master.”

Electro said slowly, “Yes.”

His watch said “Voice verified, nice to see you master.”

Cat and Mouse said simultaneously, “We are all finished here, your watches are already in the database with a small track. Thanks for coming, don't come back and please have a nice day.”

They instantly followed their way back to the entrance of the building, once they reached the doorway Electro said to Jaff, “We should split up so that way we can make more progress.”

Jaff stayed silent for a moment and then said “You're right and we can find everyone in time for the spell.”
