I hate my curse, I don't know why but it hurts when I transform into a dragon and last night was no exception. To make things worse, the pain is getting more intense through every transformation and I am not sure I will make it through the next transformation. To be honest, I am afraid that I will lose control and hurt the ones that I care about, so far I have found three things that cause me to transform into a dragon. The first trigger is fiscal pain, if I get hurt and the pain is intense then I transform no matter if it is day or night. The second trigger is the full moon. Whenever the full moon come s out, I transform and the last trigger is by night and it is random at time. Hiena hasn’t visited me at all, if anything she forgot about me. I might go check on her when I am able to go to town.

Flin sat up from the hard ground and stretched his arms out from the stiffness that filled his interior body. Immediately, Flin noticed that he was moved from where he was originally laying at. He turned to see Ash laying behind him, she was wearing no clothes and immediately, he looked away from embarrassment as he got up from the ground. Flin then walked over to his bag and pulled out a set of clothes for Ash that were a perfect fit. He placed them a few inches next to her and  stood back up to stretch his legs. After a few minutes of walking around he came back over to Ash and noticed that she was crying and tears streamed down her face. Flin sighed as he squatted a few inches from her and wiped her tears away from her face, as soon as his skin touched hers, it felt as if her emotions were flowing into him. In an instant, he moved his hand away from her and walked over to his back pack to start packing his things up. Ash slowly woke up to the sounds of things being put away, she slowly opened her eyes to see some clothes sitting in front of her while Flin was packing their things away. She slowly got up from the ground and put her clothes on as fast as she could. Ash put on a pair of small brown  shirts and a pair of small shorts that went up to her knees. Flin stared in confusion as he noticed that she didn’t touch the pair of shoes and socks that he left her.

Flin asked “You don't like to wear any shoes or socks?”

Ash replied “No, that's not it. I just can't wear any shoes right now.”

Flin asked “What's wrong?”

Ash replied in a slightly timid voice “My feet feel like they are burning inside.”

He nodded in understanding as walked over to grab the socks and shoes. Flin then walked back over to shis bag, he quickly placed the pair of socks and shoes in his backpack. Ash sat on the ground with her feet aching from the pain and she lightly rubbed her feet to relieve the pain that started to spread from her feet to her ankles.

Ash looked at her surroundings to see that the natcher surrounding her was flourishing with delight. She couldn’t help but feel at peace with delight as she looked at a small fawn standing at a distance from her. The fawn stared at Ash for a long moment before it started to string jump away into the densest part of the woods.

Ash said “Flin.”

Flin finished packing and turned to face Ash, he saw Ash was looking at something intensely. He slowly followed her gaze towards the tree line, Flin saw a tall young boy standing by a small, thin pine tree. The boy looked like he was only a teenager, he had short black hair that glistened in the sunlight as the sun shined brightly on him as if he was a god. The boy stared at Ash for a moment and then his gaze moved towards Flin with a concerned look on the boy's face.

Flin asked as he looked at Ash while breaking eye contact from the boy, “Can you walk?”

“I think so but not with any shoes though and I am confident that I can go into town without transforming into a dragon.” Replied Ash as she got up from the ground in pain from her feet.

He smiled as he asked “Can you go into town for me and gather some ingredients for me?”

Ash replied “Of course.”

Flin pulled out a list and a small bag as he said “Here is some cash and the list of things you will need to get. There are some extra coins if you want to buy anything for yourself.”

“Thanks Flin, I will be back shortly.” Ash said as she grabbed the bag and list with one hand.

She quickly tied the two small pieces of rope that connected to the bag onto a small loop on her shorts and placed the list in her right pocket of her shorts. Ash quickly walked onto the path that led to the nearest town that was only a mile away from their camp.

Suddenly, the man said in an intimidating voice, “She has to stay here!”

Ash immediately stopped walking and turned to face the man that was talking to Flin. A surprised look came across Flins face as he saw in the corner of his eye that Ash stopped walking on the path, he saw that she was facing their direction and she watched them carefully without a care in the world.

After a few minutes of silence, Ash asked in a surprised and confused voice, “Why do you want me to stay and Who are you?”

Flin looked  at Ash for a second and then back at the man with a straight face as he waited for him to reply to Ash.

After a few more seconds of silence, the man sighed as he replied, “To abser your first question, you can’t leave because there is a barrier that is keeping everything inside of it. The barrier closes at this time and can't be opened until later in the week, it’s random at times and if you try to leave…well lets just say that the only thing that will be cound is a pile of Ashes on the ground.”

Ash shivered at the thought of being a pile of Ashes , she looked around to see that there was a mist that slightly surrounded them like a dome but made of a dense and thick fog.

“This fog, is it part of the forcefield by any chance.” Ash asked.

The man replied “Clever girl, that is right. The fog is part of the forcefield. The fog disorents the person so they won't go any further through the barrier and kill themselves. .”

Ash then asked “How far does the fog go and the forcefield?”

The man replied “I can not answer that question but I will answer another one of the questions that you asked me earlier. My name is Shaw and I  am not your enemy and I am part of the shapeshifter family, I am not your enemy. I am only here to help you and your friend.”

“Yea right, If I learned anything in this life it is that if you are part of the shapeshifter family, then that makes you my enemy.” Flin said in a slightly angered voice.

Shaw sighed in disappointment as he asked Ash, “By any chance, do you have a silver knife, holy water or any religious items?”

“Um, hang on a second…Let me see.” Ash said as she thought about her backpack.

Suddenly, her backpack appeared and Ash quickly looked through her backpack for her silver knife. After a few moments of searching, she pulled out a silver bladed knife that she didn’t even know that the knife belonged to Matt. Ash quickly placed the knife back into her backpack and looked some more through the backpack for some more for a holy item that doesn’t involve cutting someone's hand. She then pulled out a small charm that was the shape of a meatole wolf's head. There were inscriptions written all over the charm, she then placed the charm on the ground and grabbed the silver knife from her bag once more. She placed the knife on the ground next to the charm. Ash looked through her backpack once more, as soon as she stuck her hand back into her backpack she pulled her hand out with a small bottle with a cross on it. She then picked up the silver knife and the charm in one hand and the bottle in the other hand, she then stood up from quoting to the ground. Flin watched as Ash walked over to Shaw until she was a few inches from Shaw.

“Here we are, here is some holy water, a silver knife and a religious item.” said Ash as she held the items out for Shaw to grab.

Shaw smiled at Ash as they both sat down onto the ground, they sat only five feet from each other and grabbed the items from Ash’s hands.
