Dragon's curse

chapter seventy nine

This is going to take a long time to find this book, why does he have so much stuff? I think I am going to drown in this mess but some of the items that I have seen are cursed or have been used in some ritualistic way. I don’t like that there are these things that are hiding in a house that has a spell casted on it.

The next day, Jaff was up for the entire night and was continuing to search for the book during the day without any sleep at all.

Slim instantly yelled “Hey Jaff, I found it!”

Jaff instantly ran down the rows upon rows of shelves until he saw Slim and quickly ran towards him as he breathed heavily with exhaustion. Once he reached Slim, Jaff quickly stopped a few feet from him as he tried to catch his breath while the feeling of exhaustion slowly filled him. 

Once he caught his breath Jaff asked “You found it?”

Slim smiled as he turned to face Jaff and replied, “Yep, I found it.”

He held the book up with one hand as if to show it off and said “Here you are.” He held the book out so Jaff could grab it but once Jaffs fingers were inches from the book, Slim pulled the book away and said, “You can only use the spell that I mark with a book mark Jaff. There are some very dangerous spells and I only want you to have this book, no one else. It has to be only you that reads from this book. You have three days to bring the book back or else you will be cursed for eternity.”

Jaff instantly said in understanding, “I understand.”

Slim slowly handed the book over to Jaff as he watched his every move and Jaff sighed as he grabbed the book from Slim's hands. They quickly walked out of the cabin to see Wolf Fang waiting for them silently and smiled as Jaff walked out of the cabin.

Wolf Fang asked “Are we ready?”

Jaff instantly said “Yea, we are ready. Let's get out of here.”

Wolf Fang quickly nodded his head yes as he watched Jaff climb onto his back in an instant. Jaff instantly watched as Wolf Fang quickly opened a portal to Fire Hill.

Slim quickly said “Be careful with that spell cuse it can attract the worst gods known to man.”

Jaff quickly siad “I will be careful Slim. I promise.”

“Alright, now get off of my land.” Slim said in a joking voice.

Wolf Fang quickly ran through the portal and once he was completely through the portal, the entrance closed in an instant. They quickly exited the other end of the portal as it started to slowly close behind them and Jaff was surprised to see that everyone was arguing with each other.

Electro said “We are not doing the spell until Jaff gets back. For all we know he might have a spell that does not require a sacrifice.”

A person in the crowd yelled in anger, “Screw you, while we are waiting for Jaff… Sara could take control and we could be stopping her right now instead of wasting time.”

Jaff silently whispered in an unknown language, “soil and Water. Grant me this wish to create something that can project my voice and make it even louder then it is right now.”

Suddenly, a large microphone that looked like it was made out of mud and was almost the size of a small vehicle.

Jaff slowly yelled into the microphone, “That is enough!”

Everyone quickly covered their ears with their hands for a moment until their ears stopped ringing. Once their ears stopped ringing, everyone removed their hands from their ears and looked over towards Jaffs direction. Electro was surprised to see that everyone went silent in an instant and he quickly ran over to Jaff with an apologetic look on his face.

Electro said “I am so sorry Jaff, I tried to delay them but you saw how that went.”

Jaff smiled as he asked, “It's fine Electro, where is Sam?”

Electro went silent as Rin said in anger, “That bastard said he had to do something and left when you did. He never came back.”

Suddenly, a portal appeared out of nowhere and out came Will as he dragged Sam by the caller with an angry look on his face.

“Here, he was trying to sabatosh your plan, Jaff. Here you figure out what to do with him.” Will said as he threw Sam to the ground.

Sam landed a few feet in front of Jaff in pain as soon as he hit the ground and moaned in pain as he clutched his side tightly. 

Jaff sighed as he said “So, before you decide anything, I found a spell thanks to the skinwalkers that does not require a sacrifice.”

People instantly whispered to each other silently as Electro said “We have until tomorrow to decide what we want to do with Ash and with Sam.”

Lin asked, “What should we do with him right now?”

Jaff sighed as he said “Well one of us can take shifts and watch him.”

Electro said instantly, “I will take the first shift, you seem like you need some sleep.”

Jaff sighed as he said, “I feel like I need it too, have you ever stayed up for two days without sleep? It sucks.”

Electro chuckled as he said “Alright, go get some sleep. We will see you tomorrow.”

Jaff sighed as he went into the cabin and went to bed as soon as he hit the bed while closing his eyes at the same time.
