I told Ash that there is something she had to do in order to bring Thanatos into this world but I think there is another way but I can’t remember what it is so I will use the spell that I know and suggest it to Thanatos.

Jaffs smile grew even wider as he replied, “We are going to the heart of the temple so we can talk to Thanatos.”

Jaff slowly walked down the hallway with Ash following close behind in silence and after a few moments of walking they reached a spiral staircase that led deeper into tepole. Ash stepped behind Jaff in fear as the overwhelming feeling of being uncomfortable filled her and she slowly grabbed onto his shirt.

Jaff smiled as he said “Don’t worry Ash, he can’t do anything to you at this point. I think he has used up almost all of his magic and where we are heading, he can't enter but he will be able to talk to us.”

“Can I still keep a hold of your shirt Jaff, so I can feel a little safe?” Ash asked with wide eyes.

Jaff instantly said, “Of course you can Ash, I have no problem with that at all.

Ash smiled as they slowly walked down the lang staircase that seemed to be endless and for a moment Ash thought that they would never reach the bottom of the stairs. Three hours later, they reached the bottom of the stairs that led to what appeared to be a dungeon hallway. Ash noticed that the floors, walls and ceilings were made of some type of unknown rock that almost looked like a rainbow after it rains.

Ash asked, “What type of rock is this or what even in this place?”

Jaff sighed as he replied, “Each stone is made of a fallen god's soul to protect any humans that come down here and the stone is called Fragment stones. We don’t know what they are made of and we are in a dungeon.”

Ash sighed as they slowly walked through the long narrow hallway that surrounded them with silence and Ash fidgeted fingers nervously as she looked ahead nervously past Jaff to see that they were almost at the end of the hallway. Jaff smiled as he slowly opened the door and the hives cracked from the centuries old rust that formed on the hinges and Ash winced as the agonizing screeching sound of the hinges surrounded them.

Once the door was completely open, Jaff said “We are here, let me do the talking and stay behind me just in case.”

Ash nodded in understanding as they slowly walked into the room silently, she was only feet from Jaff as she looked around the room nervously. Jaff noticed that there was a stone structure in the middle of the room with what appeared to be a large geode that sat on it and the geode looked like it was growing out of the stone. Ash was surprised to see that the geode was a cornflower color that illuminated the room that was a circular shape with the same stones that the hallway was made of.

Ash said in a low whisper, “I don’t like this place, it does not feel right.”

Jaff sighed as he said in a low whispered voice in an unknown language, “Hypos, god of sleep. Allow us to talk to your son, Thanatos. We seek to speak with him but only with your permission.”

Suddenly, A voice rang out from their consciousness and Asked, “Why do you want to speak with my son?”

“We wish to ask him something.” Jaff instantly replied.

Hypons slowly said “He can come into your world and talk to you so I don’t see the reason why you want or need to speak with him.”

Ash asked, “Do you even know what Nyx did to Thanatos?”

There was a long moment of silence before Hypons replied, “Nyx did nothing to Thanatos, I don't know what you are talking about Ash.”

Ash sighed as she said slowly “Nyx did something that stopped Thanatos from entering our world and that is why we came here to ask for your permission to speak to Thanatos.”

Hypons quickly sighed he said in a defeated voice “Very well. I grant you permission to talk to my son but if you do this then you have to grant him one wish that he wants as long as it is in your power.”

Ash smiled as she said instantly, “Alright, we can do that.”

Hypons sighed as his voice quickly disappeared and the geode suddenly changed colors. Ash watched as the geode changed from a cornflower color to a violet color instantly.

Suddenly, Thanatos asked in difeate, “What do you want?”

Ash replied, “We just want to ask you something, Thanatos.”

There was a long moment of silence before he asked “You beat me so I will answer one question but no more than one question so what is it you wann't to ask me?”

Jaff sighed as he asked, “Do you still want to come into this world?”

Thanatos replied in confusion, “I would like to come into this world but I can't anymore.”

Suddenly the look of realization came across Ash’s face as she asked “What if there was another way to come into this world permanently?”

Jaff quickly looked over at Ash as he asked “What are you saying Ash.”

Thanatos sighed as he said “Yes, I would like that.”

“Alright, can you give us a few weeks to prepare for your arrival and then we will contact you when we are ready?” Ash asked quickly.

Thanatos replied, “Alright, you have two weeks.”

Jaff watched as the geode went dark and Jaff asked “What do you have planned to bring him into this world Ash?”

Ash sighed as she replied, “I am going to be his mother with a spell that will not be a walk in the park.”

“So you are going to somehow get pregnant and carry a god inside of you?” Jaff asked with a surprised look on his face.

Ash replied, “Yes but I can't do it alone though, I will need a partner to help me. We will need to do two separate spells, one for me and one for my partner.”

Jaff asked, “Have you decided who you want to be your partner?”

There was a long moment of silence before she replied, “No… Not yet.”

“Wait, are you a virgin by any chance?” Jaff instantly asked.

Ash stuttered as she replied “No, I mean… Yes… I am a virgin.”

Jaff held out his hand and said “Come on, let's talk outside.”

Ash smiled as he grabbed Jaffs hand and followed Jaff out shine silently. Once they were outside of the shrine, Jaff noticed that it had stopped raining and the ground was covered in mud.

Jaff let go of Ash’s hand as he stopped and turned to face her in one motion. Ash quickly stopped walking as she watched as Jaff kneeled to the ground on one knee as if he was proposing to her and smiled with hope in his eye.

Jaff asked, “I don't have a ring at this moment because this was a fast decision but here it goes, Ash will you marry me?”

Ash held her hands up to her mouth as she said yes through tears, “Yes…, Yes, yes, Yes. I will marry you.”

Jaff slowly asked “I also have one more question, Would it be alright if I were to be your partner?”

Ash replied in surprise, “I-I… Are you sure Jaff, I mean you would have to be the father and do you really want to raise a kid?”

Jaff slowly said, “I am sure Ash.”

Ash’s eyes teared up even more Ash Jaff got up from the ground and walked over to her, he embraced her with a tight hug as she cried into his arms.

“Let's go home Ash.” Jaff said as they walked over to Wolf Fang's side.

Jaff instantly helped Ash onto Wolf Fang's back and he quickly got onto his back with Ash sitting behind him with her arms wrapped around his waist.

Jaff quickly said, “Take us home Wolf Fang and don't tell anyone about what you just heard.”

“I won't.” Wolf Fang said as he slowly walked back to the cabin.
