I think I caught the virus that is going around, It is only affecting werewolves and half breeds. The virus is hard to get rid of and the virise doesn’t just make you sick, it makes you shift uncintrolibly. I feel sick to the point that I might not make it at all.
The morning sun slowly arose upon the sky and shined its bright rays of light upon the valley as Jaff slowly woke up to the sound of something being dragged on the ground. He slowly realized that he was being dragged and slowly opened his eyes to see what looked to be a full grown man dragging him over to Wolf Fang's side. The man instantly released Jaff from his grip once Jaff was laying a few inches from Wolf Fang's side.
Wolf Fang said in a calm voice, “Thank you for bringing him to me. You may go now, you will find a bag full of cash in the woods by a boulder with moss all over it.”
The man nodded his head in understanding as he disappeared into the wilderness. Once the man was gone, Jack quickly came out of the woods that hid him from view and Jaff instantly noticed that he was wearing a trench coat that covered his shoulders down to his waist.
Jack quickly asked, “Thanks Jim, will this group really help him?”
Jaff looked around to only see Jack and Wolf Fang but there was no one else to be seen, a confused look came across Jaffs face as he laid down on the ground silently.
Jim slowly replied, “He helped Ash when she lost control of her dragon's curse because of her mother. If he does save her from her mother and helps her with the curse that she carries, then my people will definitely save him.”
“Wait, it sounds like you can't save him from this virise right now.” Jack said as Wolf Fang looked into the dark woods.
There was a long moment of silence before Jim reapplied “That is correct, we can’t help him until he saves Ash, for now we can only delay the inevitable.”
Jack sighed as he said “Alright, I better get going then and trust you for now.”
Jim quickly asked, “Where will you be going?”
Jack replied with a smile as he looked into the dark woods, “Well, Jaff is very sick so he can’t do whatever he is doing. I took his watch that has a list and copied it onto my watch but I gave the watch back though. Thankfully, I know most of the people on the list and where they live. I am going to find them and bring them to him.”
Wolf Fang noticed that Jaff was awake and asked “How long have you been awake?”
Jack looked over towards Jaff in surprise as he listened for his response and for a moment, the air started to feel thick.
Jaff slowly replied “Since you sent that man away after bringing me to you.”
Jack sighed as he said “Well I guess we don't have to explain anything since he was awake from almost the whole conversation.”
Jaff hissed in pain as he felt like he had a shortness of breath and he said “Tell…” suddenly he started coughing for a few seconds, once the coughing subsided and he continued, “Tell them to go to the… Fire Hill. We need them… to do a spell… to help save Ash.”
Jaff quickly passed out in an instant from exhaustion and pain that spread out throughout his whole body. Jack turned around towards the road that laid behind him and quickly followed the road to the town that was three towns over in the east. Suddenly, a man came out of the darkness of the woods. Wolf Fang noticed that the person was Jim and watched as he carefully picked up Jaff into his arms. He instantly walked over to Wolf Fang and placed Jaff onto his back carefully.
Wolf Fang asked “How is he?”
Jim replied “He is just tired, don't worry. Jaff just needs some sleep and he will be fine.”
Jaff laid on Wolf Fang's back as if he was on a soft pillow and for a brief second Wolf Fang couldn’t help but smile for a brief second. He watched as Jim whistled loudly as if he was calling for something. Wolf Fang watched intensely as what looked to be a black horse trotted up to Jim with ease. Once the horse was only a few inches from Jim, she stopped in her tracks as she bowed her head down to the ground. Jim quickly got onto the horse instantly and quickly taped the horse on its side, they quickly started walking down the opposite road that Jack went on that went towards the west. Wolf Fang sighed as he started walking back towards the town that Jaff was staying in, he moaned in pain as Wolf Fang followed Jim close behind.
“I am glad you are following me Wolf Fang, my people are in the same direction.” Jim said calmly as he watched the road.
Three hours later, Jim stopped his horse in the middle of the road and Wolf Fang did the same with a confused look as he wondered why Jim stopped.
Wolf Fang asked “Why did you stop?”“There is a fork in the road and I know my people move around a lot so I am trying to figure out where they are at.” He replied calmly as he did the calculashions in his head.
Wolf Fang said in understanding, “I understand.”
Ten minutes later, Jim said “Ok I have to go right at the fork but you have to go left at the fork. You will need to follow the road for about ten miles… How should I put this simpoly. Oh, after the fourth turn off on the road you will need to take the next turn off and follow that road and you should reach my people before nightfall.”
Wolf Fang nodded in understanding as he started walking down the road that Jim told him to go and followed his instructions while Jim went down the other path silently. Wolf Fang couldn’t help but feel uncunfertibole as he slowly turned down the road that Jim told him to turn at and continued down that road silently. Four hours later, Wolf Fang stopped walking when he saw a group of people standing five feet from him.
Wolf Fang asked “I came here because Jim told me to, who is your leader?”
One of the men walked forward until he was standing in between the group and Wolf Fang. The man almost looked like a native indian as he stopped walking and looked at Wolf Fang with curiosity.
The man asked in a slightly angered and annoyed voice, “Why have you come here?”
Jaff coughed in pain as he said “I… Need a doctor.”
Wolf Fang said instantly, “He is friends with Ash and his name is Jaff. Jack said he caught the new virus that is going around that affects werewolves and half breeds.”
The man sighed as he said while he looked at Jaff with a concerned look, “fine, I will take you two to my wife. She may be able to help delay the effects.”
Jaff slowly lifted his head to see the man but quickly passed out in an instant, Wolf Fang slowly followed the man through the woods until they reached a clearing filled with rows of small tents and huts curved in snow. Wolf Fang watched little kids running around with delight and he quickly thought to himself, they look like they are having fun. He smiled for a second in silence before he continued following the man while looking around with curiosity.
Wolf Fang asked “Do your people have any problems with the animals around here?”
The man replied, “No, I mean we have the occasional foxes and coyotes but otherwise they don't bother us.”
Wolf fang quickly noticed that the adults were cleaning their clothes and removing snow from their tents. He couldn’t help but be amused at the idea of the adults cleaning.
Suddenly, a young boy quickly said “Hey mom, that guy looks like a ghost but instead of white mist he is pitch black.”
Wolf Fang quickly realized that Jaff had transformed as he passed out and couldn’t help but feel bad for him. Jaff breathed heavily in pain as they slowly walked through the tents slowly until they reached a large gray tent with a blue tarp over the top of the tent that was tied to four large trees. There was a large, thick rope that tied the tarp to the trees and kept the tarp in place while keeping the rain water from touching the tent.
The man quickly said as they stopped walking, “Here we are.” He looked over at the young man and waved him over with one hand.
