I can't move, no matter how hard I try to move something, any part of my body. Jaff is badly hurt, I can tell he is badly hurt because I heard the popping sound as soon as he hit the tree. I have to move, I need to move but why can’t I move. It's funny, I suddenly started to feel cold but my skin is warm to the touch.

Jaff slowly got up from the ground in pain as he slightly groaned from the pain that filled him as he stood up straight. Ash slowly moved her tail towards the dragon silently on the ground and after her tail was inches from the dragon, she quickly stopped moving her tail.

Jaff quickly noticed Ash’s tail as he said in pain and looked at the dragon with a slight grin, “You will never have Ash, she is strong and I know she will never go through this plan of yours.”

Anger built in the dragon as she said “You don't know my daughter.”

A shocked look came across Jaffs face as he asked “Wait a minute, your daughter? Then that means… You are Ash’s mother?”

Ash quickly swiped her tail at her mother and cut her right eye leaving a deep cut in her eye. Sara quickly grabbed her hurt eye with her claws in pain as Jaff quickly ran over to Ash in an instant.

Jaff asked in a worried voice as she slowly turned back to normal, “Are you alright Ash?”

Ash slowly opened her eyes to see Jaff running towards her, once he reached Ash, she was completely back to normal.

Ash slowly replied  “I…I think so.”

Jaff asked with a hint of relief in her voice, “Thank goodness, can you walk?”

Ash nodded as she slowly got up from the ground with Jaff helping her stand on her feet. Her eyes were still groggy from exhaustion as they watched Sara fly away from them in an instant.

She said slowly, “I am going to transform back into a dragon and place you on my back, I know my mother very well. She is going to come back for payback.”

Suddenly she quickly transformed into a white dragon in an instant, she slowly wrapped her tail around Jaffs waist. For a moment, Jaff winced in pain as Ash lifted him off of the ground and carefully placed him on her back as she spread her wings out as if she was going to take off into the night sky.

Suddenly, Saras voice came from the sky as she said in anger “My blood is inside you now, You can never escape what will happen to you now.”

Ash quickly flapped her wings in pain as she took off into the sky, once she was above the treeline, she soared through the air as if she was a free bird. The moon shone brightly, Jaff slowly started to fall asleep on Ash’s back while sitting up slightly straight on her back as the wind blew lightly against their faces.

Three hours later, Ash quickly said to herself, “Shit, I am running out of time. It seems like we lost her but I better go a little further ahead. I better land near the closest town but the nearest town is near the snowy mountain.”

Jaff slowly woke up and asked “Where are we?”

Ash replied “We are almost at the snowy mountain, there is a town not too far from there.”

Jaff asked in a concerned voice, “Ash, this may be none of my business but the sun is about to come up and you haven't changed back into a human? I thought normally, the dragon's curse ends near the time the sun is about to come up right?”

Ash replied in a slightly low voice, “You are right but I don’t know why I haven’t changed back into a human yet.” Ash was silent for a moment before she raised her voice and said, “I will be landing soon, if I don’t change back to normal… Then I know that my mother did something to me.”

Jaff looked at Ash with a worried look on his face, he then looked ahead to see the mountain that they were heading towards and instantly, Ash slowly started to land on a small slope of the mountain. As soon as Ash hit the ground, a burning sensation filled her chest where Sara cut her instantly. Jaff felt as Ash lay onto the ground in pain and as soon as she hit the ground, she hissed in pain.

Jaff slid off of her back and asked, “Are you alright?”

Ash slowly replied “Yea, I’ll be fine. You should get some sleep, here.” She slowly lifted her right wing up into the air and continued, “You can stay warm under my wing.”

Jaff nodded his head yes as he walked over to Ash until he was only meters from her and sat next to her side. Once Jaff was laying against Ash’s side, she slowly lowered her wing to the ground covering him as if her wing was a soft blanket. Suddenly, warmth filled Jaff as he slowly closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep instantly. Ash thought to herself, I should leave him so I don't do anything to him by accident or anything. I don’t know what my mother did to me but I will do whatever I can to protect him. I am scared that my mother did something that will force me to hurt Jaff and I don't want to do that to him but if I stay with him… no, I will leave Jaff once I know he is doing alright.
