Dragon's curse

chapter ninety four

I did a spell that speeds up the pregnancy so I think each day I will have at least a month's growth to my stomach. I have a feeling I am carrying two or three kids in me but I can't be sure. I am going to the gods temple to transfer Thanatos into one of the babies that I am carrying in me.

As they slowly walked through the woods Jaff asked, “So, do you know how we are going to transfer Thanatos into one of the infants that are growing inside of you Ash?”

Ash smiled as she replied, “Well, Thanatos will be doing that himself but I don't know how so we will have to ask him if he can do that.”

Three hours later, the sun slowly started to set as they reached the gods temple and quickly stopped as Jaff quickly got off of his horse. He quickly walked over to Wolf Fang and slowly helped Ash off of Wolf Fangs back. Jaff quickly realized that Ash’s stomach grew even bigger and she looked like she was five months pregnant.

Jaff asked in surprise and concern in his voice, “Do you even feel when your stomach grows?”

Ash smiled as they started walking into the gods temple slowly and replied, “I do sometimes but other times I don't even notice that my stomach has grown.”

Once they got into the temple, they quickly went down to the basement as Ash slowly rubbed her stomach as if to comfort the feeling of her stomach vibrating as they got closer to the room where they could talk to Thanatos.

“Um, Jaff.” Ash said as her stomach suddenly growled as if she was hungry. 

Jaff said in surprise, “Wow, we ate before we left the cabin. I guess all of that growing in your belly made you hungry, Ash.”

Ash smiled as she said, “I guess but there is something wrong Jaff.”

Jaff asked in confusion, “What do you mean?”

“Each time we get closer to the door my stomach feels strange, I can't explain it though. Even now my stomach feels strange.” Ash replied as they stopped outside of the door.

Jaff asked, “Do you feel any pain?”

Ash shook her head from side to side a few times as she replied “No, it feels like my stomach is vibrating or something like that.”

Jaff slowly opened the door and they quickly walked into the room silently while Jaff closed the door behind them. 

The gode quickly lit up and Thanatos' voice came from the gode as he said “I can feel a vessel nearby but it is not born yet.”

Jaff said instantly, “Yes, Ash and I did a spell to make you a vessel but it is still growing.”

For the longest moment there was silence before Thanatos said, “I see but I have a feeling that you want to ask me something.”

Ash sighed as she asked “Can you get into the vessel as it is right now?”

Thanatos replied, “I can but there is a big risk or two if I do that.”

Jaff asked “What is the risk?”

Thanatos replied, “Well, Ash’s stomach might grow even faster than it is growing right now or she might look like she is having twins when she is actually having triplets. There is the possibility that both of those risks might happen as well.”

Ash sighed as she said “Go on ahead and do it Thanatos.”

Thanatos asked “Are you sure?”

Both Ash and Jaff said simultaneously, “Yes.”

Thanatos chated in an unknown language, “I choose the male vessel inside of Ash and transfer myself now.”

Suddenly Ash’s stomach groaned in pain as she backed up against the wall as she felt her stomach start to grow even bigger and her shirt stretched alongside of her stomach as her stomach grew abnormally fast. Ash moaned in pain as her stomach grew intensely and after a few more minutes her stomach stopped growing. Jaff noticed that Ash looked like she was eight months pregnant and her shirt barely covered her stomach as Ash breathed heavily in pain.

Jaff asked, “Are you alright Ash?”

“Yea, just a whole lot of pain and a whole lot of growth at that point. That does not feel great when your stomach grows like it just did and I don’t think that it will not be the last.” Ash said as the pain slowly disappeared. 

Jaff quickly walked over to Ash as she held her stomach lightly as if not to hurt the infant's that were growing inside of her.

Jaff asked “Are you alright to ride back to town?”

Ash breathed deeply as she replied “I think so.”

Jaff looked towards the geode and asked “Thanatos, are you there?”

Jaff waited a few minutes but there was no reply and they quickly walked out of the temple silently. Wolf Fang watched in surprise as he watched Jaff help Ash onto his back slowly. 

Jaff said sternly, “You go easy on the road Wolf Fang, I have a sneaking suspicion that Ash is carrying more than two infants inside of her.”

Wolf Fang aked in understanding and confusion, “I understand Jaff but aren't you coming with?”

Jaff smiled as he replied, “No, I will meet you there. I need to check something out, I have a strange feeling and I don't know why but I want to find that out.”

He quickly walked back into the gods temple while Wolf Fang carried Ash back to the cabin slowly so as to not harm Ash or the infants in her stomach. Once Jaff reached the chamber in the basement, he stood silent for a moment. 

Jaff exhaled as he asked “Hecate? Are you there?”

A voice rang out from the geode and replied “I am not Hecate, my name is Asteria and I am her mother.”

Jaff sighed as he asked “Where is she?”

Asteria replied slowly, “She will be reborn as a human in your world and that is what she wanted. Your friend is carrying two gods inside of her right now.”

Jaff asked in surprise and anger, “You didn't stop her?”

“She is my daughter and I can't control her decisions. She is her own woman and she wants to be born in this world just like Thanatos.” Asteria replied slowly in a sad voice.

Jaff sighed, “Alright, we will take care of her but it's not like we have a choice anyways.”

Asteria said with joy in her voice, “You will, I will be in your debt if you take care of my daughter.”

Jaff slowly paced from one side of the room to the other side in silence as he thought about his choices. Two hours later, Jaff stopped pacing from one side of the room to the other and looked at the geode.

Asteria sighed as she pleaded, “Please Jaff. I am begging you, please do this one thing. If not for me then my daughter Jaff.”

Jaff sighed in defeat as he said “Alright, fine but when she remembered everything about her previous life, I am going to tell her everything.”

Asteria Sighed as she said, “Very well, I agree with  your decision.”

“I am going to go because I am worried that Ash’s stomach might grow even bigger now that she has two gods growing inside of her stomach.” Jaff said as he started walking towards the door.

Asteria said quickly, “Alright, be safe on the road. The roads can be dangerous at this time of night.”

Jaff quickly exited the gods temple and got onto his horse silently as the moon shone in the sky while covering the ground with its bright light. Once Jaff was on his horse, he quickly taped his horse on its sides lightly with his feet and held on tight as his horse ran into the direction that he came from.
