Chapter 35: The Ball

FOXXER'S POV

It's six o'clock in the evening, and the ball celebration will be held tonight as well. It's such a shame that my cousins have already left the school. It would have been more pleasant if Yael and Benjo were still here.

I'm still a bit curious about why they seem to be in such a hurry to leave SSI, especially after what Yael told me before they left.

"Foxxer, listen to me," Yael said seriously to me as he put his hands on my shoulders.

"Why?" I curiously asked.

I heard Benjo sigh behind Yael.

"We will surely tell you the reason when we meet again. For now, follow what Yael says first."

It's kind of strange. The way Benjo looks at me with those cold eyes says a lot.

I stopped thinking about what Yael had said to me when I heard Kid's voice coming from outside my room.

"Fox, how long have you been there in your room? Get out of there, hurry up. "

I rolled my eyes because of what he said.

"Kanina pa kaya ako nandito sa labas. Nangangawit na nga ang mga paa ko kakahintay sa'yo," kunot-noong reklamo nito sa akin.

"Ewan ko sayo. Tara na nga!"

Agad kong hinila ang kamay niya at lumabas na ng dormitory. We immediately heard the music coming from the field where the party was being held.

While walking to enter the field, we met Elliona and her friend, Virgo. They immediately approached us with a smile.

"Foxxer! Wow, you look stunning in that dazzling black dress," puri sa'kin ni Elli nang tuluyan silang makalapit sa amin.

"Thank you," mahinang sambit ko sa kanila at sinulyapan ang tahimik na nanonood sa amin, si Virgo.

"You too, Fontales. You look good," papuri rin ni Elli kay Kid.

Kid stood up straight and acted like he was the most handsome guy here at SSI.

Nakakahiya ka, gago.

"I know, right."

Agad ko siyang kinurot sa tagiliran. Kahit kailan talaga, hindi ito marunong magseryoso sa buhay.

Nilingon ko silang dalawa bago ko sila nginitian.

Elli was wearing a red-fitted dress. Because of what she's wearing, it was even more noticeable how beautiful the curves of her body are. On the other hand, Virgo was wearing a violet-fitted backless dress.
