Recap:

Kol looked at Elena and sneered. "I don't even know why you're crying when you're the cause of all this."

"I agree," Jenna murmured.

"Jenna!" Liz gasped, "how could you say that?!"

"Liz," Bonnie spoke, "um... we should... wrap th-"

"This is a funeral," Lexi spoke, "guys, let's pull ourselves together. Talia wouldn't have wanted us all fighting."

The others quietened down.

"I just think it's funny how-" Caroline began.

"Oh, for fuck's sake," Lexi hissed as another argument broke out between Caroline, Kol and Rebekah.

"I need to get- I need to-" Elena gasped as she walked away and tried to grab her coat.

The doors opened and everyone looked back, annoyed and curious about the interruption.

Klaus's eyes opened as he stood up. He could smell something.

"Oh, I'm not interrupting, am I?"

"What the fuck?" Damon murmured as the others stood up. "Who the hell are you?!"

"We're... uh..."

"You shouldn't be here, this is a funeral." Stefan spoke.

"We know- we're jus-"

"Hang on..." Rebekah murmured, "I know you... you're the hunters.... aren't you?"

"Hunters?" Elijah was curious.

"They're the Winchesters." Klaus murmured, crestfallen that he had been mistaken. He sat down. "They're the Winchesters."

"The one who got Talia, Elena and Jeremy out of the house fire?" Caroline asked.

"Ye-" Dean began, but he was cut off.

"Look," Damon snapped, "I don't care if you're the damn devil himself. Leave. This is a damn funeral and you are not welcome here."

Sam was taken aback by Damon's anger. "We're just here to-"

"I said go!" Damon snarled.

"Damon, stop-" Stefan strode over to pacify his older brother.

"Dude, relax-" Sam held his hand out.

"You know what, dude, maybe I will relax when I rip your damn- heart- out." Damon was now halfway down the aisle.

"Get back, Sam." Dean growled as he felt in his jacket pocket.

"Get out before I rip your head off-" Damon was now beyond furious.

"That's no way to speak to my friends. Honestly, Damon, rude or what?"

Damon stopped and gasped. The others looked up, stunned. Klaus rose as Elena stumbled forwards towards Jenna.

Talia pushed past the two Winchesters and smirked. "Come on, Dame, where's the Virginian hospitality that you couldn't afford to me when I first came to Mystic Falls?" Talia chuckled. She glanced at the coffin and then groaned softly. "Is that me? Oh, well, that's just typical, innit. I knew I'd be late to my own funeral, which is bloody ironic since I'm never late. I'm either always on time or I'm not there." Talia trailed off. "Oh, yeah. Shut up, Lia, you're chatting bubbles."

Klaus did not know what to say as anger, grief and relief took hold of him. He sped right in front of Talia and looked into her eyes. "My love."

"Hey," Talia murmured as she looked at Klaus.
