Recap:

"We need to get out of here," Talia whispered as she looked around, "before they all get here! Plea-" Talia stopped; she had heard something. She screamed and clutched at Klaus' collars as Castiel sat up and pulled the fork out of his eye.

"I must say, that tickled."

"You're supposed to be dead! I-" Talia was bewildered. "I stuck a fucking fork in your fucking eye, you punk ass son of a fucking bitch, you're supposed to be dead!"

"Are you gonna tell her or am I?" Castiel asked Klaus, who remained quiet.

"I- tell me what? How you, my boyfriend's old mate, tried to kill me? Well, sell me off? What the fucking hell? Klaus, please, let's go before they come back!"

But Klaus did not speak. He began to walk towards Castiel. He held out his hand. "Up you get, brother," Klaus pulled Castiel up by his hand. "What the hell happened?"

"No... no," Talia gasped and fell to her knees. "You two are in it together? Klaus, please, tell me what I'm thinking is not true. Oh, god, no. I feel sick."

The two men looked at her.

Chapter 96:

"No way. Please." Talia opened her eyes. "So it's all been a lie," Talia began hyperventilating and struggled to get up. Her breaths were short and raspy. "Lies. All of it. You said you loved me. All lies. You don't love me. Never have. Have you? Have you, Klaus? Oh, my sister was right." Tears were now streaming down Talia's face. "I can't- I feel sick."

"Forgive me, princess, but what are you talking about?" Klaus asked as he walked over to Talia. "Are yo-"

"Stop," Talia moaned as more tears fell. "I feel sick. I can't believe you did this."

"Wha-" Klaus stopped as his eyes widened. "Oh, love, anything but that."

"She thinks you betrayed her," Castiel spoke before he looked at Talia. "It's not what you think, I assure you, little witch."

"What would you know," Talia whispered, her arms now wrapped around her middle. "Oh God, I feel so sick..."

"Love," Klaus stooped over to Talia. "I would never betray you. You're mine." When Talia did not look at him, Klaus took her face in his hands. "I swear, I swear on the lives of my family, I am not conspiring with Castiel. You're my girl."

"You're not...?" Talia unraveled her arms and put her hands over Klaus'. She sighed. "Promise me?"

"I promise."

Talia exhaled. "Thank God. I couldn't bear it, knowing all of it's been a lie. My heart couldn't bear it." Talia muzzled into Klaus' chest and exhaled softly. Her face was stiff with tears. She remembered Castiel was in the room too and pushed Klaus away. She looked up at him. "You called him brother. Why did you call him brother?"
