"Guys." I awoke with a start.
"Huh?!" I looked around- nobody was here apart from me and Katsuki, who also jumped awake.
"Oh man, is homeroom about to start?" I asked, embarrassed I had actually fallen asleep. Aizawa looked at the both of us, mouth agape.
"Homeroom? It ended." He informed us.
"What the hell is with you two today? From what I heard from your teachers, you were asleep when they came in and still asleep when they left. They actually stopped your classmates from balancing things on top of your heads and throwing things at you. Although, they couldn't do much when it came to break time." My brows furrowed.
"Break? What?" Katsuki whispered in disbelief.
"Afternoon homeroom ended. Not morning...You two slept through the whole entire school day." I choked on thin air.
"This morning, you both fell asleep 5 minutes after I came in, and I let you sleep out of pity. I'm assuming the other teachers did exactly the same, because you have not moved a muscle since that morning. Which was 13 hours ago."
My newfound partner in crime and I stared at one another, each looking severely bewildered. I guess we were extra tired since we had to stand up the whole night too.
"In my entire career of teaching, and of every teacher who has entered this room today, not a single one has seen a student who has slept longer through class than you two. I've sat here marking work since the end of homeroom to let you both sleep a little longer, since something clearly happened, but even I have to go home at some point."
"... Holy fuck." I couldn't help myself but say under my breath. I checked my phone, and sure enough, it was 6:40pm.
"Right. I'm going to speak to Bakugo first. L/N, wait outside. And I swear to God, do not go anywhere." I listened, gingerly gathering the abandoned Math homework from this morning and putting it away. Standing up, my legs buckled under me. My muscles completely collapsed from the stress of last night. I caught myself on the desk, and got back up.
"What the- Oh my God, just wait outside." Aizawa put his head in his hands. Face bright red, I walked as fast as my wobbly legs could take me.
I waited. I didn't move a goddamn muscle. I couldn't leave Katsuki in the shit like that, so I waited obediently.
"Holy shit, she's awake!" Sero said, walking down the hall, along with Kaminari.
"Yep. And feeling pretty well-rested, actually." My legs shook under me, but at least I got some sleep.
"Well, uh, I wouldn't check TikTok if I were you." The pair walked off giggling.
"Oh for God's sake-" I scrolled through my phone, coming across a video of Kaminari placing a pencil holder atop a tower of books on my head, and Kirishima topping his own tower on Katsuki off with a dictionary.
"...I didn't say a damn word, hag. See ya." Katsuki walked out the room- albeit his own legs like jelly, past me, and down the hall, with a lazy wave to me over his shoulder. I entered the room myself.
"I knew he wouldn't say anything." I smirked, trying to hide the wave of anxiety passing over me.
"Listen. You have been acting so strangely lately, and today really was the icing on the cake. So, please explain to me, what happened last night." I stroked my chin, pretending to think.
"Well... we had a pretty hardcore gaming session last night." He groaned, putting his head to the table. He was seriously done.
"No. I know Bakugo would never willingly lose his sleep like that. I just need to know you're okay, Y/N." My breath hitched. He seriously still had the nerve?
